My Top 10 Games Of The Decade 2000-2010 Edition

My Top 10 Games Of The Decade 2000-2010 Edition delete list | edit list

1. Resident Evil 4

Great story, excellent graphics and brilliant game play do I need to say more?

2. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Most enjoyable Zelda game I played loved the art style wish they bring it back in future Zelda (console) titles

3. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

The size of this game was amazing lots of things to do and I never got bored the voice acting was top notch especially from James Wood.

4. God of War

Proved that hack and slash games could be good, excellent story too

5. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

Masterpiece best Metal Gear game too date

6. Batman: Arkham Asylum

Who would of thought that a game based on a super-hero could be good? Great story and the inclusion of the voice actors from the animated show was excellent

7. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

Excellent puzzle game made me think of Broken Sword

8. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

The single player was ok but the multi-player kept on bringing me back

9. Halo 2

The single player was ok but the multi-player kept on bringing me back

10. Def Jam: Fight for NY

My guilty pleasure of the decade could not get enough of smashing Busta Rhymes face in a brick wall I hope they make a sequel for console and not another Def Jam icon

My 2 month experience with the Kinect!!

As the Kinect is being launched tonight my Non-disclosure agreement ends

I received my Kinect at the end of August because I was accepted in to the Kinect Beta program, I have to say this thing is fun we got given 2 games to try out Kinect Sports and Joyride to download from the Kinect HUB (Is where you will be taken when you say XBOX Kinect from the Dashboard). The first version of Kinect Sports I downloaded had 5 sports they were Long jump, Javelin, Co-Op 100m Dash, Bowling and Soccer (Football) and later the second version had Volleyball. Table Tennis and Bowling all games were fun especially the when you played against another player my favourite was the Soccer (football) because I’m a big fan of the sport and plus I was diving around like an idiot trying to save the ball from going in the net which made great viewing on the video highlights when you finished a match. Joyride was tough at first because it was hard controlling the cars it didn’t responded to you very well when you were steering the cars but after a couple of update thanks to the feedback from the beta testers it worked very well. The battle mode was great when you can fire weapons at your opponents to do this just hold you left arm to the side to fire your weapon and my favourite part is where you can change the colour of your car all you do is find an object you want a colour of and hold up to the camera and it scans the object colour it was quite cool have my car the same colour as Mountain Dew.

A couple weeks later we were given a new game to download and this was Kinect  Adventures if you want to lose weight and get fit this is the game for you with all the moving about (and banging my head in to a wall) you will get tired. This was the most fun I had especially with another player when the other player jumps in (literally jumps in to join you) they can help you get to other higher areas on the River Rush (white-water dingy) level when you do a double jump first you jump then player jumps that pulls off a double jump. The other game modes were 20,000 leaks (you are in a glass cage and fish and shark smash the sides and you have to use your arm and legs to cover up the holes), RallyBall (Hit the ball and break the boxes and collect Pins), Reflex Ridge (You are on a track and you have to duck, jump and move out of the way of obstacles and the player with the most pins win) and Space Pop (You are floating in the air and have to pop all the bubbles Flap your hands to go higher)

That’s it for the games I tested, we also got to try out the Kinect enabled Zune and Sky Player (only for U.K version need sky subscription) all it is you can control with your hands and voice (XBOX Stop, XBOX Play etc) works well when you don’t want to use your controller.

Video Kinect an application so you can chat to your friends on the XBOX or via MSN works very well especially if you move around your room and the Kinect tracks you.

Will the Kinect be a hit or a miss? I'll think it will be a hit as long it doesn't go down the same road as the Wii and release very poor 3rd party titles Microsoft need a good veto system on what games would get release for the Kinect and not the same rubbish that got released for the Wii.

Sorry if the post is short just got things to do :P

Its not going well at the moment loads perfectly fine but once the game starts it start stuttering and never plays smooth even when i put the low settings on it still stutters and you cant use  any controller you got to use a XBOX 360 controller which sucks so i ordered the  XBOX 360 wireless gaming receiver so gonna pick that up in a bit and hopefully i can get the game to work better.
