I don't see how someone elses tattoos are any of my business. I don't think about it. They should be whatever the person getting them needs them to be. For me, I've never really considered it. Bit too much money, and I don't love the idea of shoving heavy metals into my skin with needles.

NBA 2K16 while not entirely an RPG, features a career mode that basically functions as a basketball RPG.

This mode features the greatest story ever told, featuring memorable characters such as: Frequency Vibrations, a basketball phenom who apparently killed someone as a child as well as Vic Van Lier, a F.O.F. (Friend Of Freq).

Vic blackmails Freq in order to use Freq's money to continue his pursuit of a rap career under the stage name Bo$$-Key-Yacht$.

Vic later dies in a car accident and comes back as a ghost.

My favorite part of that whole dumb thing was finding out the black family that raised my white character didn't in fact adopt me. I laughed about that for a good 15 minutes at the start, and the rest kept on piling on the dumb at a pretty steady clip. Love that game.

What kind of timespan are we talking? By the time we have PS4 classics on the PS6 store, maybe? There are a lot of people out there who really like mediocre gameplay and atrocious melodrama, so it'll probably do pretty well.

I haven't looked at them yet. I'll check them out eventually. It'll probably be mostly remedial. My problem isn't with understanding, but with implementing that knowledge into my actual play.

Only way to remedy that is to play a whole bunch. It's why I never got all the whinging about fighting games not onboarding people well enough. Especially from someone like Brad. That fool had a team of people working with him for months on end to get him semi competent at Dota, one of the finest games in history, but somehow a player having to experiment to find out what their effective combos, antiairs etc are in a fighting game is some kind of insurmountable flaw. It's really weird.

I'm sure it'd be fine in cinematic sub-30 fps on PS4, but I'm going for PC again.

Seems like most of the combos they have you do aren't optimal, and in some cases even practical. Good for practicing execution and getting a feel for timing and things though, I guess.

I have a 13" mbp retina that I haven't booted in about 6 months. It's a fine computer but I cannot stand OS X. Should probably just list the thing for sale somewhere.

Only way I'll buy a more powerful ps4 revision is if my original PS4 breaks and there is some new game released I feel like I need to play.

If mine were to fail today I don't think I'd bother replacing it, in fact I'd replace my Vita before my PS4.

Got a case/card holder thing for my iphone 6. It's so thin otherwise that the added bulk doesn't bother me, and it saves me from carrying around a wallet.

There are a lot of modern day thriller books, but I happen to like W.E.B. Griffin's "The Presidential Agent Series". The books are modern day, well early 2K era. The character is snappy and funny, but some of the bad guys actually become semi-shady good guys. Its military/espionage fiction but they are mostly fighting terrorists. The books go all over the world, but in a realistic way. (All military/espionage fiction is fantasy however; if Armies worked as well as they do in books, the US would win wars even against terrorists.) The other nice thing is that teh main character isn't just another boring W.A.S.P. white-guy.

I say this all the time, but rather than ebooks get into audio-books. Audiobooks blow text rendered books out of the water, and if you find it hard to get into books or read books...for whatever reason... audiobooks are great. Audiobooks are great way to on-ramp you onto reading physical or ebook too because you get hooked an acclimated to how teh author writes and his characters so that reading teh physical books becomes more gripping.

For me, the narrator is just too important. There are several books I'd love to listen to I just won't buy the audio version of because either the mix is bad, it's recorded at a ridiculous sample rate so it sounds like someone recorded a phone call in the 50s, or the narrator's voice is just annoying. I would say I most of the narrators I've ever listened to to get in the way of the words they're trying to deliver in some way, and it's just annoying. Part of the reason I have 13 credits sitting in my audible account at the moment.
