Manually enabling "Performance Cookies" by clicking "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" at the bottom of the page as described by others got videos to start working for me again in Chrome and Firefox.

This finally worked for me (I'm on Firefox). I also turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection (the shield by the URL); I don't know if that was also necessary for it to work.

Just clearing cookies did not fix the problem, but the above did. Thank you for posting that.

Unfortunately site videos still don't work for me, post-fix. I manually cleared my cache too, and no dice (Firefox, Win11). Tried with and without adblocker.

My experience is slightly different than what some others have described; when I click on the play button, nothing happens. No error message, no sign that it's loading, no reaction at all.

I also can't watch GB videos on Firefox. It's been that way for at least a week.

Just wanted to say that I support this response and am glad many others do, too. It's been a terrifying week (I live a few blocks from the epicenter of the Minneapolis fires) and GB's content and people have been incredibly helpful in keeping me from a constant state of panic, but it's so much more important to call out these issues and I'm glad they're doing it directly and explicitly.

I'll look forward to more podcasts and whatnot, but please take the time you need and thank you for addressing this.

Hi, I too was persuaded by Mike's stream to give Warframe another shot, and it hooked me this time. I'm only MR5 and I'm kinda weirded out by the Goatse portal that shows up on the launcher, but I'd like to join if there's room.

@captaininvictus If you're using iTunes, you can enable "Remember playback position" under Get Info > Options.

And thanks for the update, @rorie!

No dice with logging out/in, restarting my browser and computer, or ctrl-f5ing the page. I can't subscribe to the non-premium feeds either (through the iTunes store or the RSS link from here on the site). I subbed to a couple other podcasts through iTunes as a test, and they appear to work normally, as do the other ones I was already subscribed to. How bizarre!

I can listen to them through the website, so it's not a big deal, just a convenience thing.

@rorie No luck with that, I'm afraid. I've tried using the RSS link on the podcast episodes' pages, as well as pasting the URL from that link directly into iTunes, but it doesn't seem to recognize it as a thing to subscribe to (instead of the name of the podcast it displays the URL and can't download anything).

I'm using iTunes 10.7 as well, so I'm not sure if that's contributing to the problem, but it was fine until last week. Thanks for looking into it!

I've been having the same issue, though instead of an error pop-up it just has the ! next to the feed name.

I've been cycling through this naming system to find GB coop groups and have had pretty good luck:

I am continuing with this approach: when a new contract appears, i try "giantbomb", if full, then "giantbomb1" then "giantbomb2" etc., even when I start a new one in this manner, people always join shortly. I suggest this method, as it will get you to the next lobby in line, maximising the number of players at any given moment.

As for when the contracts unlock, I'm not sure. The wiki says you have to have unlocked the contract egg in normal play, but both of the current contracts use eggs that aren't in the main progression, so I don't know what would unlock them.
