Thanks for putting this together again TruthTellah, always makes it easier to go back and check out some awesome runs that I missed. Just watched the Tony Hawk 3 one, well worth the three asterisks. Super impressive.

@beachthunder: I can't handle horror games, I have to watch Patrick play them. Among the Sleep did look good in the quick look though. And The Wolf Among Us is one of my favorite games of the year, but like you said, best to wait until all episodes are out.

@corruptedevil: At least Transistor is a great game to agree on - have to look at the positives in life. The Movie Maker title cards do indeed look pretty crappy, just wasn't sure how to handle transitions from one game to the next. Your advice is duly noted.

@fancysoapsman: If I had expanded this to 10 games, Danganronpa would have ended up somewhere on the list. I love 999/VLR, and Danganronpa fills the Zero Escape void in my life. Really looking forward to the sequel later this year.

@alecofthewest: I'm not a big Super Smash Bros. fan, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed MK8. So I might have to give the new Super Smash Bros. a try later this year.

@coafi: I see Jazzpunk is currently on sale on Steam for $7.49, and I'm debating whether or not I should get it...

@spraynardtatum: Haha, loved that moment in the game.

@pr1mus: I completely forgot Civilization: Beyond Earth is a 2014 release. All I remember is that the last time I played Civ V, Gandhi destroyed me. But I guess that's normal for the series.

@markwahlberg: Banner Saga is one of those games I really wanted to like more than I actually did. Really impressive art style though.

@riostarwind: You're the second person to mention Danganronpa, and that makes me happy. Definitely an honorable mention for me.

@bwheeeler: I wasn't expecting much from Wolfenstein either, but it looks like fun from the videos I've seen. I'm not a big FPS fan, but I might pick it up after a price drop.

Sad to see ya leave SF Vinny, but I'm sure you and Alex will kill it over in New York. Excited to see what the future holds for Giant Bomb!

@driveuplife: I'll be playing Long Live the Queen when the event starts. I'll also attempt a Volgarr the Viking "speedrun" on Saturday (with a very special guest) and maybe Remember Me if time permits. Looks like Nickieroonie will be playing through the Ratchet & Clank games, Bollard will suffer through CoD4 on Veteran, and I heard a mention of Drakengard from jeffrud... *shudders*

There will be even more, but those are the ones I know of off the top of my head.

Great to see some interest already among you fine folks. For my stream, I will be channeling my inner princess in the hopes of eventually becoming a queen.

I really liked the Fire Sword, but I'm so glad I finally have a new weapon. Got my Uchigatana to +10 and I just found the Black Knight Halberd (the weapon I used to beat the first game). I'd say that's a pretty good one-two punch.

I wish the Twinblade did more damage because the moveset on that thing is awesome. I've been using the firesword for most of the game and it's been working out pretty well. I'm starting to regret going for a dex build though, seems like most of the weapons so far scale best with strength. Hopefully I come across a katana or something like that soon.

Exactly the same way for me. I really wanted to use the Twinblade, but it's damage output is very low. It is really good for crowd control though. And due to its rapid hits, I think a imbued one would do well PvP.

Anyway, do not get down. I also used the Fire Longsword for a long time until I got to Iron Keep. Farm the standard enemies there for a Blacksteel Katana. It scales A with dex by default and will go up to S through reinforcement. I now use a Blacksteel Katana +10 imbued with lightning with my dex/faith build. It does a lot of damage and is pretty fast. You will also be able to purchase the Uchigatana if you give the dull ember you find in Iron Keep to McDuff.

Cool, thanks for the tip. Just got to Iron Keep last night before I took a break, so I'll check that area out for the ember and hopefully get a katana drop along the way.
