I'm a lifelong gamer. Started with the Atari 7800 (fairly late I suppose, though it was all about being able to afford a console back then), and since I have owned every Gameboy system to date (2 original, 1 pocket, 1 color, 2 advance, 1 advance sp, 1 advance micro, 1 DS Fat, 1 DS Lite), an NES, a Sega Genesis, a Gamecube, an Xbox 360, a Wii, and a PC. PC gaming is where I've put my heart and soul most of my life, as I have been an avid lover of historical RTS titles and FPS games. I'm also a big fan of RPGs, both western and japanese style, depending on my mood. I enjoy a good 100+ hour epic story more than anything.

Some of my favorite games of all time?
RPG West: Baldurs Gate 2 East: Tales of Symphonia
FPS: Half-Life
RTS: Age of Empires
Puzzle: Lumines
Platformer 2D: Sonic 3 & Knuckles 3D: Mario Galaxy

I'm an avid writer. My current dream is to combine my loves for writing and gaming into one and do this little thing called gaming journalism. Writing about games. Presumably for money, since the big reason I haven't been able to do so much writing in the past is because I have to hold another job to pay the bills, which leaves me with little time otherwise. But even so, I expect to write a fair few reviews as my fresh start at this here site.

I've also dreamt of being involved in the making of games, like any other "hardcore gamer" out there that isn't hardcore in the sense of pwning noobs over Xbox Live Halo style. I think that dream has mostly been crushed by the advertisments for "learn to build videogames!" schools like Devry. The attitude seems to be "I'll sit on my arse and make make videogames all day!" If you think like that, you shouldn't be in the games industry. It has to be a passion, and not what you think is a cushy job. Although if I ever make it so far as to be involved in game development, I feel I would best be suited to gameplay and story fine-tuning, in offering my ideas as to what would make a game fun from the point of veiw of the player. That is, until I go back to school and get into actual programming.

I'm also an artist of sorts; or at least, used to be. I still enjoy to draw the occasional sketch or doodle, but my skill has deteriorated without continual use. I've taken quite a few classes on the more traditional arts, but what I attempt to do the most, and usually fail at, is anime and anthro art.
