That's kinda sad it had a very good premise and the last game ( made by Insomniac) felt like some Falling Skies stuff in tone and storytelling they should have focused more on surviving impossible odds rather than standard FPS mechanics of havings lots of guns.
@BraveToaster: Absolutely those trailers are great, showcasing the gameplay (what you want to know about the game) and presenting the setting and tone of the game (what picks your attention when you don't know anything about the gameplay) more of that less of dumb (Wub-wub - Bhaww) montages that look like they came straight out of a movie trailer (sure those work for some games but don't shove it into everything).
I need to see that footage Rockstar Gameplay Trailers sold me on Red Ded Redemption more than any word of mouth or review ever could, make a good trailer explain and show the gameplay maybe release a demo and that's all you need, most of the times what you see is what you get, story trailers? those I don't watch.
I much prefer the cinematic trailers that came out from GTA4 and RDR. They set up the world and characters and taken control of the character for the first 10 minutes in those games are always really memorable and would be ruined by gameplay walkthroughs from E3.
I was talking about the gameplay video series
I know there are a couple of trailers that talk about the story and themes I decided to skip some of those, I can see what you say about E3 Walktroughs but is a matter of how much do you need and want to know about some games, sometimes I just go in complete blackout because I don't really need to know much about it a trailer and a gameplay showing was good enough ( X COM : Enemy Unknown is one of them) but some others I'm not really sure so look for some info because I don't care much about getting "spoiled" of early bits (Assassin's Creed 3).

6.0 doesn't mean is a bad game if 5.0 means average then 6 is a little bit above that just don't expect more... oh right other outlest have completely screw the system by saying anything below 8 is bad . For as much I don't like Angry Joe he's the only guy who seems to use the score system right he's the only one I've seen saying average for a game with a 5 score... oh and reviews don't matter judge by yourself.
I knew beforehand about a couple of characters dying at the end basically because one guy tweeted "hey this character dies at the end of the game spoilers!" wich was really shitty I still haven't play that game and ther other one was Jeff about a recent game; easy to figure out the fate of that character so it didn't surprise me me but still kinda shitty but unless you read in detail everything about the conclusion you don't really get spoiled of anything since potentially every character could die at the end of his/her journey so whatever with those kinds of spoilers , other than that I don't think I have "ruined" a game for myself.
Kind of all of them or what's the point. Master Chief is extremely trained, but he still goes against seemingly insurmountable odds. Unless you're playing on easy. Look at what Jaffe says about the Superman Fallacy. The idea that Superman is too powerful to get any drama out of him, Jaffe categorically disagrees and says that you just aren't challenging him. This comes from the guy who made God of War, a game that makes you feel like a living god and yet still pushes you to the degree that your victory feels impressive.
This pretty much, I'm wating for a game where you play as a guy/girl who doesn't want to save the world because he/she knows it's too hard and s/he'll probably die (without turning him into a whining anime cliche) so throughout his/her journey he/she attributes his/her achivements to luck so constants Phew's and all.
