Giant Bomb/Comic Vine has been sold to CBS Interactive. The other Whiskey Media sites were sold to BermanBraun.

http://www.giantbomb.com/forums/general-discussion/30/wm-has-been-sold/539505/#147

This information was taken from the justin.tv video, which can be found here. This will NOT be covering the changes to Tested, Screened, or AnimeVice. They have their own announcements/threads for that information.

-Giantbomb is relocating to the Gamespot offices with ComicVine. The old office has been vacated.

-Who is going? Giantbomb/ComicVine: Jeff, Ryan, Brad, Vinny, Patrick, Alex, Drew, Dave, Alexis, Tony, and Sara (plus some engineering people). They are also taking the couch, Cool Baby, and Luchadeer. They cannot take the brick wall. Gamebomb.ru is not being moved with GiantBomb.

-No content will change. The Bombcast is still every Tuesday, and Quicklooks/video content will resume soon. DO NOT send mailbag stuff to their old office.

-GiantBomb will have it's own content, and will have full editorial control over it. They will not cut any features just because Gamespot already does it.

-The site is being redesigned, but you won't see it for a couple of months.

-Meebo bar is gone. Ads may/will change somewhat in the future.

-There will be some crossover with the Gamespot staff, but they are their own entities. You will likely see cameos from the Whiskey staff in the future.

-Subscription details are coming soon. No current word on what's happening to dollars spent.

-According to Jeff, the real reason for the move is because the GB crew wants to hustle the GS crew in Warlords cash games. They did not keep Joey, but Drew can hustle just as well.

-At 4PM Pacific (7PM Eastern)today, Jeff will be talking with John Davison about why he was fired from Gamespot. This will happen on both GiantBomb and Gamespot.

@Zaph: Vinny/Drew are producers for GB, and will likely stick with them. Dave is technically Whiskey staff, but he may opt to go with the GB crew. That is probably embedded in the deal somewhere. My guess is that Alexis/Dave go with GB.

This is likely a case of people using shared logins/passwords for multiple accounts, when one of the databases has been compromised.

As someone who does work on the other side of the phones (though not at MS, and in a different field), the best thing you can do is escalate. If you're not getting anywhere, demand to speak to a manager or supervisor. Do not stop until you're talking to the President of MS, or to someone who actually gets you an answer/solution you'd like. CSR's do NOT like getting yelled at, and most of the time, will gladly hand off an angry customer to their supervisor/manager (much to my dismay).

This should be, at the very least, an interesting venture for them. It's a chance to build something from the ground up, much the way GB did, and not come into an establishment and conform to their existing standard.

I dislike Crecente a lot. I can't put my finger on why, I just...don't like him.

I really like Arthur Gies. I disagree with his opinion on occasion, but he always has reasons to back up what he says. He's really intelligent, knows what he is talking about, and is a great addition to any site that picks him up.

This absolutely works on PC. With the default controls:

Hold RMB, and point at somewhere close by.

Hit LMB and Backspace at roughly the same time. i found it works better if you hit backspace almost immediately after hitting LMB.

One weapon will be thrown, another will be dropped.

It seems as though the game doesn't remove the thrown item from your inventory until it's actually gone, but spawns the item in the world before it's thrown.

Another note: My keyboard stopped responding after I had duped the same item around 5 times. Could have been just a normal bug that would have happened, anyways.

Edit: Video!

@Laketown: How do you figure? The source on the page lists it as 'potato_count'.
