Yup yup. I thought it was just me playing on an HDTV that didn't have the game option in the video settings. Playing on my normal TV and its really hard to kill folks. Wouldnt be so bad if the recoil wasnt effed.

So...he couldn't trade in his new, raffled game? Gamestop is retarded, it's new! If he's willing to take 40 in store credit, thats his fault!

I haven't had a problem with it at all because the games that I normally play multiplayer doesn't have it.

Now I see why it exists, people buy used games all the time and Gamestop makes a staggering amount of funds on used game sales and the developer gets nothing from it, at all. They are probably pissed that for one game a developer makes, GS probably makes triple the amount of money for that game. Say someone trades in MW3 a few months from now. They will get probably 30-40 in-store bucks for it. Then they place it on the shelf and slaps a used price tag on it for $55 dollars. Someone buys it and then a few months down the line, they do the same thing. Say this cycle repeats 4-5(most likely more) for this this single disc. Gamestop has made a huge profit of hundreds of dollars. The developers see nothing of that.

I agree that a pass is relevant in this situation.

Now I like how Bad Company 2 handled it. You buy it new and you receive ALL the DLC for free. If you brought it used, IF you want the DLC you need to pay for the pass. They weren't locking out story DLC and straight up Multiplayer!

Anyway I hope shit gets at least reasonable because if someone who doesn't know if they really want multiplayer pays for it and doesn't like it, their loss.
