Most video games adapted into movies are terrible, but if Joe Madureira stays attached and they get a decent producer and director (God please no Uwe Boll) I think it could be awesome. I would rather see an unknown or up-and-coming actor play the part of War, as opposed to an established star. They might see this part as step toward stardom, whereas an established actor may just see this as a pay check. What does everyone else think about a Darksiders movie?
I think woo's post is spot on. It's a mindless fun summer blockbuster. I enjoyed it alot. I was disappointed in all the unnecessary cussing and humping dogs. My kids love this movie and don't really need to hear or see that.
