The following are the games that I consider to be my all time favorites. These are the games that I can go back to and play and enjoy. They are not what I consider the "best" games of all time (although some of those games will appear in this list), they are just games that I had the most fun with.
Not only my favorite game of all time but also the best game of all time. Its simple, its addictive and it offers endless game play possibilities.
A combination of setting, music and endless loot makes this a super addictive game to play. On top of that, the randomly generated dungeons keep the game fresh every time.
I know everyone has Ocarina of Time as their favorite, but for me its the 16bit game that I kept going back to.
Even though there have been two sequels (and one coming up at the moment I wrote up this list), I still prefer II. Great deep strategy, smart AI, overall great game.
I love fighting games. And there are probably better ones. But the hours spent on Tekken 3 are incountable. Huge roster, lots of variety in fighting style, and Gon as a secret character!
Bastion brought together the elements of a game that I would want to make. Not only is it fun to play but has a story gets its hooks on you and leave you wanting to know more. And as icing on the cake, a gorgeous art style.
