Democratisation of music through the internet and easier means to record have meant more music available.

However people look back on things with too much nostalgia and the music has to be good or memorable to stay in the minds while the dreck gets left behind. There are a shit ton of mediocre and terrible bands from the 70s and 80s and once they are not contemporary enough they disappear from radio playlists. Going to a vintage record store or an oldies music station skews the representation of the past having a higher proportion of good music.

Edit: Unfortunately for some of us (me too when I'm not trying hard enough) we give up on looking for new music that excites us and that's when you revert into a cocoon of the things we know and start saying "In my day we didn't have shit like Bieber" when we forget we had people like The Cartoons and Aqua.

Violent games and non-violent games aren't an either/or situation to the entire video games industry.

The OP reminds of me of when my friend said he hated Clockwork Orange because he took it as just being an excuse to show violence. And he also stopped watching Breakfast Club after the first half hour because "nothing happened".

What's essentially been written is a very face-value approach to something that has not actually been grasped.

Just pick it up and put it in your pocket and drop it into a bin when the opportunity comes.

It kinda made sense with it being one of the first exclusive game hyped as a proper FPS on the Wii.

A lot of gaming websites tried to put it under the microscope to ultimately decide the Wii's capability for these types of games.

Techno Kitten Adventure - http://technokittenadventure.com/ is a neat little distraction.

If you want to take up a new hobby in video games, that would be good as it takes time. Like learning how to fly a plane in simulation mode of IL-2 Sturmovik or AC-10 Warthog. Or a racing sim with a wheel on full simulation settings.

Starting a new hobby in general is of course great too.

I prefer to be called "Sir, could you please put your pants back on and leave the premises".

Yeah, still don't see how this "game" is funny.

Thanks for letting us know.

How about quoting Monty Python ad nauseum instead? Now that shit's funny.

NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.

NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniforms - Oh damn!

1) "SPAM"

2) Repeat.

I think if it piled on the holy shit moments it would have to compete with the finale. Think of it like a calm before the storm. Or maybe like an album or compilation where each song has its own peaks and troughs but the songs themselves have them too. Episode 4 is a slow jam before they drop a banger/bomb on it.
