If this is the future, then it sure is dark for me. Portable gaming should not become main stream... that will be boring. And its pretty much impossible too. 
Developers are constantly looking to push the limits of technology and and are trying to make games closer to reality. If anything will happen, games will continue to move in the direction they are speeding already, will portable gaming just remains a subset. (and I hope so too.)
