As she said last year, her first appearance she went into it with the wrong mindset and said some things she wouldn't usually if it were a different environment. For anyone who wasn't being a baby last year would've listened to the podcast to the point where she apologized profusely for acting that way. The only people she called "basement dwellers" were the ones who didn't give her a chance to explain and apologize and just post "NO LEIGH EVER AGAIN" on an article a million times over. 
 
In fact in that same episode she talks about how the entire GB community is incredibly nice (as a whole, ignoring those who took it upon themselves to email her hate) and that the existence of Giant Bomb is a wonderful thing. 
 
Then last year, she was certainly a lot better but still made some mistakes. 775 million dollars for example, yeah it was a slip up, you think she doesn't feel bad about it? Opinionated people like her have a hard enough time convincing people around them why they think the way they do, I doubt she needs an entire internet hate machine on her back every time she makes an error. Do you think you're helping? You're jumping on the little guy (girl) because its easy.
 
Guarantee you, every person saying Leigh is stupid and obnoxious would look 100x worse if they switched positions and they were the ones talking. She's a younger writer and respects the Giant Bomb crew, I'm sure she got nervous a few times and doesn't want to look inexperienced and/or lacking intelligence. I'd imagine Lenny Kravitz would mess up a few chords too if he was playing with Jimi Hendrix. Leigh proves herself through her writing, I'd like to think she'd cut all of you slack if you made a poor argument or mathematical error, give her the same courtesy.
 
No Leigh this year makes me a little sad. I understand if Giant Bomb is making decisions based off of outcry from the community, but it's sad it had to come to that. I'll support Giant Bomb regardless of who and who is not on the E3 podcasts. At the end of the day, even if it was just Brad, Vinny, Ryan and Jeff I'd be happy.

Failing in LA Noire when I KNOW who I WANT to convict and the game WON'T LET ME, is infuriating. 
 
That man you chased in the falling construction site? Guess what? He's the only conclusion to the case, there's no other option. You didn't "fuck up" because you made a bad choice, its because the game forces you down poor decisions.

I love what Klepek brings to news writing for GB. Original stories that involve interviewing developers for things other than PR. Gives an interesting look at the industry.
