I never really got into the "new game+" or the "die/restart/grind/die" flow of the first game, but it seems MUCH better designed this time around, so I'm hooked. I didn't end up rescuing everyone until I hit the level 5 cap and then some.

All of these posts have good advice (especially invoking the mindset of Woody Harrelson) and the only other thing I really have to offer is just keep learning where things are and how you can reduce the amount of time it takes you to get essential items and items to create more powerful weapons. Let yourself explore further in a new direction each time. It's odd, but in this game, dying can be a good thing - since you can just restart the story with your XP (er, PP) and abilities.

Also, like the moose head, the red push carts/dollies can be helpful for plowing through crowds of zombies and getting somewhere a bit faster. There's one behind Bill's Dept. Store. Press "B" to get behind it, then hold X to drive it.

I'd love to make it to this show sometime. Here in Portland we have the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, and it's steadily growing each year:

Sorry if it was too spammy. I've been a Giant Bomb member for a while, I just had yet to visit the forums and I thought some people here might be interested in this!

It's cool if it needs to be removed - I'd understand!

Hey everyone! I hope you don't mind a little shameless self-promotion.

See, I manage this arcade called Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade in Portland, OR. We mix classic arcade games and pinball tables from the 70s through the 00s with beer & wine nightly. If I may say so myself, it's an awesome place. Hopefully some of you have been able to check it out and can back me up!

Anyway, we've been chosen for Stride's Save the Arcades 2. We're competing against 2 other arcades for a $25,000 grand prize! Anyone can help their favorite arcade win by going to the contest site, signing up, playing a free flash game and finally donating their score to the arcade of their choice.
It would be awesome if you could play the game and donate your points to Ground Kontrol whenever you have time!

Go to http://savethearcades.stridegum.com or http://groundkontrol.com for more info.

Thanks for your time - every play and every point helps us become a better arcade!
