This is something I have been wanting to do for AGES, since I have been using the same two shitty 17" CRT's since forever.

So now I finally have 2 monitors that, for the price (And brand; They're acer's)) ($118 dollars after my employee discount) look really good. It's really strange going from a 8 year old CRT to something like this. Going from 1024x768 (anything else looked like crap on those CRT's) to 1440x900 is nuts. I'm sure most of you have been running that resolution for years (or even higher ones) but to me its crazy. you have so much more room on your desktop, I almost don't even need two monitors anymore. 

Also, the amount of room I have on my actual desk is amazing to me, too. Before, my keyboard was practically kissing my monitors. Now I have tons of space infront to store precious things like twizzlers..

Other news: Totally stoked about cali next month. Just a little over 3 weeks to go!

Also, I bought a tomtom, and those things are pretty rad. It's like driving with a HUD. I put a darth vadar voice on mine, to give me them turn-by-turn directions, which is very amusing. 

I just wish I had some use for it now, but after living in this state for 17 years I pretty much know how to get to anyplace I'd ever need to go. But I bought it primarily for when I move to cali in june, so I don't get lost.

So yes, new stuff! hooray!
