"Interesting concepts, mediocre gameplay" is pretty much Suda 51's signature at this point. Still, I enjoyed most of his games, so I'll give this one a go as well.

Pity it's not on PC, I haven't turned on my 360 in months.

It's a side scroller and I don't remember any ice stages, but you start the game standing on the hood of a jeep.

There's an unarchived video on Twitch with drunk Ryan, Rorie and Jeff ramblin' about his pure, unrivalled hate for G.E. Smith. Can't find it right now, but I'm pretty sure I bookmarked it at home, I'll edit later.

I'm all for porting DS adventure/puzzle games to iOS. Loved Phoenix Wright, Ghost Trick and even TWEWY, to a lesser extent.

I have no idea how 999 played on the DS, tho. Is there any reasonable explanation for removing the puzzles? Did they really require some weird combination of both physical touchscreen controls or something?

Anyway, chopped out or not, I'd be willing to try it out when/if it comes internationally, if the price is reasonable.

There was a time when playing video games meant going to the Arcade. More often than not, you would end up spending $5, $10 or maybe even $20 bucks on a game. It was fun while it lasted, but when it was over, you'd walk away with nothing to show for it.

Fast forward, say, 15 years. Add "Xbox Live" before "Arcade". Bask in the irony.

I say it'll be Dark Seid, Martian Manhunter and... either Power or Super Girl.

I wish Booster Gold would make the cut, tho.
