I haven't played Crackdown in 2 years, so I forgot most of that stuff. I was thinking about replaying it again, but Crackdown 2 adds just enough that I would rather play that. I guess saying I would rather play the new game over the old one I already beat isn't much of a compliment though...
"Over priced crap. Maps they left out of the retail release so they could sell them to you later. And people just eat this shit up. "
You really think they had 10 extra maps at release just lying around, and then they wait 7 months to put them out? It isn't as if the game shipped with a lack of content either, as it had more maps than most FPS games upon release.
But back on topic, you are almost doubling the amount of multiplayer maps for $30. If you don't play the game enough to want new maps, don't get them. If you play it enough that you want more variety, get em. It's that simple. The quality of the new maps is about the same as the stuff on the disc too, so you know what to expect.
I would like to point out that the reason the ending where you save Barisov ends like that is probably because you die in the building, but your fully-upgraded TMD is still in the wreckage. Also, you might notice that nobody on the island is ever confused about what is going on and they all remember both timelines when you change the past. For example, if you saved Demechev in the fire, you and Devlin would have never been in the U.S. military, but becuase they were already on the island, they seem unaffected. Devlin even asks to talk to the American Embassy, to which Demechev replies, "You will find that impossible for a variety of reasons." implying that he knows what is up too. Within the story, the island nullifies the time travel stuff for the people on it or something.
Well, I haven't played a game of theirs in a long time that hasn't had server-side problems and all that. The games themselves are just fine, but their online stuff is usually pretty bad for a good chunk of time after the game comes out.
How do you know enough to get the homebrew stuff working right, but not enough to realize that firmware updates get rid of that stuff? Most systems don't even warn you or anything, but Nintendo straight-up tells you when you install, "Don't install this if you have unlicensed software because it might not work after!" Really man, you aren't telling us anything that Nintendo doesn't let you know on the download screen.
"Woah now, I dislike Gamestop as much as the next guy, but let's not drop the "W" word lightly. That's some seriously loaded language we're talking about. "
Dude, you are totally right, but for reasons other than you think.
Wal-Mart has one of the most lenient return policies still in existance. I have for real gone there and got replacements for broken products WITHOUT reciepts even when I didn't buy the game there. I just say it is a gift, and they do it without much problem at all. Heck, last year I even did the deal where I got 3 for 2 at Toys R Us and after the games I really wanted came out in November, I brought them to Wal-Mart and exchanged them for what I really wanted.
Point of the story- If this guy went to Wal-Mart with the copy of the game he bought at Gamestop, they would have replaced the disc. Wal-Mart is a real sketchy place when it comes to their operations in China and the treatment of their employees, but their return policy is one of the best around.
"Not sure if i'm right, but as soon as a heard the credits I thought it was a tribute to Evangelion. There are a bunch of different versions that play over the credits through the whole series and the films too."
No man. Just because they use the same song doesn't mean anything. That song may make you think of some weird anime stuff, but that is you, not the song. The song is used throughout the game, mostly because it has the word moon in it and the moon does something in that game? I forget.
I actually went and rated all my games right when that came out. I was hoping it would be like Netflix where it would start bossing me around and tell me what to play. Instead, it didn't do much of anything.
