  • Building on the past Assassin's Creed games, Brotherhood lives up to the potential of the series and provides a complex and rewarding game with some very satisfying abilities. Uh uh uh uh uh.

  • The first Mass Effect wove a fantastic universe together and created a great game. Mass Effect 2 improves on this across the board. A fantastic action RPG. If only I had still had my save from ME1...

  • This game has made real time strategy relevant again, and maybe PC gaming too. The incredible single player should be played by anyone, and the incredibly balanced multi-player should be played by anyone with staying power, and a cool temper.

  • The slow quiet setting and nerve shredding danger makes this beautiful game a joy to play from beginning to end.

  • The flagship series ended with a great incarnation that brought with it the memory of Halo, with fantastic new game mechanics and a familiar, but intriguing story line.

  • Taking the old formula for a game and refreshing it is nothing new in games, but never has the change been so satisfying as it is in Pac-man CE DX. Changing the focus from lives to score, this game keeps me coming back, and keeps me eating the Ghost Train!

  • The ever addictive Civilization series strikes again with the best incarnation to date. I actually upgraded my PC just for this game, and it was well worth it. This game is going to stay on the radar for some time, and should go from strength to strength.

  • Building on classic cart games of old, Bizarre made a great and crazy racer that thrives in local multilayer so well that will stay in my collection for as long as I have a console that can play it.

  • The game that made cowboys cool again. With great mechanics, addictive play style and some great characterisation, there is no doubt in my mind that this is the best game from Rockstar yet.

  • The formula doesn't look that revolutionary on paper, but the visceral feeling of busting racers, and the buzz of being chased makes this racer a thrilling experience.
