Hello. Quick question: if I buy a copy from green man gaming and activate it on steam, will I get the international version, or the version from my country?

Specifically I am interested in censorship stuff (like for HL2, L4D series, Bioshock series). It would be amazing if I could buy uncensored versions from GMG

good buy!

you should use as many idols as you need. if you feel you are good enough at the game, then use all of them, but it does get crazy. what I did was use those with the most bonus, but without using the really dangerous ones (health degeneration I think it was, among others)

as for loadouts, i usually use the kael hammer as a melee + another one. it depends what you are into. i used the rifles the most.as with idols, just try it out and if it isn't fun anymore, then change something. also there are a select few drinks which are really useful, but I guess you'll find that out on your own

also note this: XP and shards are not very important. gather as many as you can, but don't destroy the enjoyment by going in with many idols or anything. by the end you will have more than enough stuff to upgrade your fav weapons

to all non-US duders: is there an easy way to get these deals without tricking amazon with addresses and stuff? i looked for the digital deal section of on .co.uk and .de but didn't find this..

i find the direction they are taking the series in general is horrible. it's really a different game entirely and sadly nothing like the old splinter cells

@xobballox:thanks! dex seems the way to go. I like the samurai swords and the way curved swords work. also..spears.

the strength weapons seem very sluggish and till now, every one I have has a weird attack pattern. i'm screwed with the black knight weapons i'm afraid. killed all of them except for the kiln and anor londo i believe. as for the serpents: i've been killing them for a while now without any luck. will try later on. their weapons and the gravelord greatsword I've pinned as the last acceptable swords for a str build.

the reason why I asked about respecing is because of the positively ridiculous ammounts of souls i need for a single level. I've spent the earnings of almost the entire sen's fortress on a level, which is crazy

anyway...after the invader kills you, you DO leave a bloodstain. or at least, I left one recently. also if you kill the invader you get his humanities. if he kills you he gets yours.

again, that was how it was for me.

i've got similar questions: what weapon would you recommend for a STR build focusing on swords? i tried out the zweihander and it seems alright, but the swing is really weird (huge arc = bad in corridors) and it is really slow. are all str swords like that? is it too late for me to respec to dex? i have 24 str and 15 dex. soul level 52 or smt.

well I upgraded my spear to +5 and am thinking of getting the moonlight butterfly spear. looks good. and thanks for the black knight sword tip. I'll try to get one. if not I may roll with a zweihander or something similar soon. I agree that the drake sword teaches you to be lazy. immediately after getting it I died and lost 7 humanity. never got close to that number again...

@Dark: i didn't really get into the upgrading stuff yet. the only soul I currently have is from the butterfly anyway. also i'm not finding a lot of materials yet, except for the ones you buy at the blacksmith.

i decided to hang around the darkroot gardens a bit and get some souls. with the covenant or not. then see what paths open up. also tried out the halberd an hour ago. never again ;)
