I tend to agree. Overwatch immensely gives the illusion of competence, and so many people think they are better than they really are. Its a problem, because it never tells you what you are doing wrong and where you need to improve. Its a genuine problem with teaching people how to play your game.

The medal system also reinforces this, because people assume that if you have gold medals you have played well. Which can be extremely far from the truth, especially in such a team oriented game. Where support/tank roles focus on things other than straight up killing. If you have 2 outright damage dealers, of course you have to be gold eliminations as one of them.

Though frankly, this only becomes an issue when you take the game a little seriously. Which is probably a bad idea, its not a very good competitive game. The balance is all over the place, and the game easily lends itself more to casual, quick play. Which makes Blizzards pushes for the game to become an esport a bit forced. I don't think it will ever really succeed as an esport, which is for the best.

8 AM classes on Mondays will be the bane of my existence.

I prefer morning classes in theory, because then you have the rest of the day free. I just suck and keep staying up late though, so I get too few hours of sleep.

Microsofts game lineup for 2017 now looks truly horrific. Not saying Scalebound would have changed that or even necessarily have been great, but its a trend in a larger direction change for Microsoft. They are hedging all their bets on a few games, that we still don't know much about. I see a lot of hype for Sea of Thieves, but we know very little about what you actually do in that game. And Rare haven't exactly been on a roll lately. The last Crackdown game was outright bad, so who knows if Crackdown 3 will even be worth a damn? Halo Wars 2 I see more of something to please a small fanbase. Which leaves State of Decay 2.. really? That first game had neat ideas but it was so rough around the edges and made it hard to put any real time into it. The gameplay was so clunky and just really put me off what I otherwise would have probably enjoyed a lot.

Scalebound came from the same initiative that got us Sunset Overdrive, which is still my favorite game on the entire system. The Xbox One is also sorely lacking big name Japanese games, which they now seem to have completely abandoned. It just seems like a too big fanbase to just abandon and say, if you want Japanese games buy a PS4.

Sigh, I feel that the community in this game has become so toxic. Its almost at the point of Dota to me.

The amount of times I see someone "throwing" a game, that is perfectly winnable, is starting to be ridiculous. Simply someone asking someone to change hero can trigger this, or someone gets really upset that you are playing something that isn't in the "pro meta". Its draining my desire to play the game frankly.

I feel really saddened by this. I love every Hideki Kamiya game, and even if this had issues in demos I had so faith.

I just feel that Microsoft might have a pretty bad relationship with Japanese developers. I mean look at how they handled D4 and what that did to Swery.. and now this. Will any Japanese studio ever want to work with Microsoft after this? Both blew up hard.

Hopefully he can take some time off then be back working with Nintendo again. Wonderful 101 is one of my favorite games of the last few years.

I personally wouldn't want a new "platform" like VR on a closed system. I just feel that most of the cool stuff on VR is small demos and ideas that may not be full fledged and thus never see releases on consoles.

There still aren't really games that you want to spend a lot of time with on those things.

I always drink it, it gets flavored by the cereal and gets really delicious. Its basically chocolate milk left if you eat coco pops.

Though I cannot remember last time I ate cereal.. I just kinda don't like it much.
