Everyone hates the hell level in God of War 1. If you don't... well, good for you, but I've never heard of anyone not thinking it was a bad part of a good game.
I really didn't mind the Hades level of GoW1. The only problem was climbing up those damn blade pillars.
That was the whole issue I had with that damn level.
@avidwriter: There is literally a mode where you can mash one button and she will do all the combos for you if you really want to make it THAT easy. The game can scale to be whatever you want it to.
Well no I don't think I need it to be *that* easy. As long as easy mode is actually easy and beatable I'm good. I only have a PS3 so 360 isn't an option.
I'm interested in playing Bayonetta but I'm kinda eh in these kinds of games. I was able to beat GoW but a few points I got pretty angry (that hell level!!!). Since this isn't the GoW 3 forum I won't ask about that.
So, do you think in your opinions that I'd have some fun playing the game being ok at it?
It still marvels me that people are willing to fund these projects, for apparently nothing in return. I would get it if it were an investment, but it seems like nothing more than goodwill. I guess it's speak to my own level of goodwill that I don't understand it.
Not only that but they have no legal binding contract to actually make the game with the money. I read through kickstaters legal crap and unless they updated it, it's all the honor system.
I just got a PS3 around black friday and I'm compiling games I want to get. MK looks amazing, I've watched GiantBomb do their QL and their little tournament they had back when the video's were live. I really like the way the good looks and presummabely plays. Espically how the loser just gets back up all bloody and beat to hell to fight the next round.
However, I'm not into fighting games. Mostly because I only play these solo and I suck at them.
Given that however I still like MK or rather I think I would? The last one I got was I think Armageddon on the gamecube (still not sure why I did that).
Would I be able to beat the story mode and most of the challenges here being a mostly crappy fighter player?
(Oops, accidentally pressed submit too soon) The emotional highlight for me was in Episode 3 where Lilly shot Carley. I was so upset that I left her there to die. That's the first time a game has been able to make me do an amoral thing because of how much I was caught up in the story.
I'm curious though. If you take her with you, when does she die?
Go to a hotel and say that your wife/girlfriend/brother etc or even you left their cable in their room, did they find it? They probably have like..... a dozen lying around. Hey it's an idea.
