I've been playing games for quite a while. More than 30 years. Most of the time, I play on the PC. I would say that my first real jaunt into the world of strategy gaming was probably the original Sid Meir's Civilization back in 1991. Up until EUIV's release last year, The Europa series was always second fiddle to CIV in my mind, but, thats changed. Paradox Development Studio's formula has finally clicked. The rubber met the road with Crusader Kings II, and it was perfected with EUIV. The ...1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
This game is one of the more influential titles I had on my Commodore 64. Excellent graphics, fight mechanics and wry humor kept me playing it for quite a while. Each fighter you unlocked led to a new challenge on how to beat the Fatman with them.While lacking in features compared to a modern fighting game, i believe this was the first game that actually allowed you to unlock fighters into your stable as you beat them, increasing the replayability and want to pump hours upon hours into the game....0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
