Huh, expect Erin to be Chie's voice in Golden too since they'll have new dialogue which means redoing ALL of Chie's lines. Now to be honest, now that this has happened, I won't mind hearing they were unable to get Naoto's actress back too, after hearing Romi's performance in the anime, the english voice just doesn't compare.

This is where things get even more confusing: Karen Strassman, the actress who voiced Nanako Dojima in the PS2 game, said that she's already resumed Persona voicework - for Persona 4: Arena.

"[I've] been recording hours of lines for Aigis and Nanako all through the month of March, and [I'm headed] back in the studio to record more on Tuesday!" she said. "I'm so wonderfully happy to be finding these characters again. I think people are really going to love this one!"

UPDATE: I just got the following email from Nanako's VA Karen Strassman:

Oh geez, I goofed. I've been recording ARENA. I know absolutely nothing about the "ANIMATION." Sorry, didn't read ur email closely enough. Haven't heard a peep from Sentai about any of this either. Wow, very weird. -karen.

I feel like showing this episode to some of my teachers at the Christian school I used to go to.

I'm sure they'll love the end of the fight.

That full SP bar involves hitting the opponent with a Burst (Every character can do it, there was a Naoto player running rampant with it and her instant kill the first 3 days or so), I think it's different from a normal burst too and if you don't hit them there's a penalty for you.

Man, I was going to main Chie, but fucking Thanatos?

Teddie was definitely involved in some way, but we'll probably either never get the full explanation or we'll have to wait for Golden/Arena to fill in the blanks.
