I will never understand how Mass Effect 2 keeps landing at the top of these lists.
Me neither. It's like these people haven't even seen Mass Effect 1... FOR SHAME. MAKO 4 LYFE.
There are some other perplexing placings on the list (mostly Bioshock, which is seriously overrated you guys...), but a solid effort overall.
It's not even the Mass Effect 1 vs 2 debate for me. While I do have my opinions between the two, I just don't see how ME2 caught on like it did. It wasn't exactly revolutionary in any way, really. Not in my eyes at least. Maybe people saw something I never did despite finishing it twice.
I don't really see the connection between a lot of games. Like, why is Crusader Kings up against Mass Effect 2 or MGS4 vs Geometry Wars. Shouldn't they at least be paired up against something more similar?
