No promises.

It would seem that when I host everyone else experiences significant lag. If anyone else is interesting in hosting let me know. It would appear I am not the ideal solution.

I'll take a look tomorrow and see if there is a solution, I was just running off the vanilla server client, and briefly read using an alternate solution may reduce lag.

Hey, which one do you folks want? Survival or the unlimited build?

EDIT: Server running.

IP:  24.16.121.59:25565

Currently set to free build, if people request I can switch it over to the survival map we started.

@Babble: Yeah Apparently it has been confirmed in a translated interview with a German fansite. The stats might be decent for healers, but the proc won't be. And yeah, eventually a few casters will get it, but I seriously doubt we'll ever get enough for all the casters to have it, if it requires as many boss kills as Shadowmourne did. Regardless, we need to pick someone to get the first one, cause if we start splitting the shards, it takes forever for anyone to get one.
Time for /random.

@bcjohnnie
Whatever guys, I think the top comment is going to be "Lol every time that cat dude goes up to the boss he stands in fire and dies"
More like: why is the cat guy standing in a corner before they pull the boss?

" Azizz or Babble are the obvious choices, but if it can be a healing staff too, its gonna go to one of the healers. Some sort of decision is going to have to be made, and it will most certainly be attendance and performance based, I don't want to give the staff to someone (read: me) who wouldn't use it to its full potential, or for whatever reason isn't able to make it to a lot of raids. We have quite a while to make that decision, but it needs to be made before 4.2 hits. "
Ha!  Suck it DPS.  I'm all up in your house taking your staffz.
Could have sworn it was already confirmed that it isn't a healer staff.

Heh, I guess lose then. Damn my trip to San Francisco, cutting into raid time!

" @troidy: You're right about the standby stuff, but I also wonder if it would be beneficial to establish some sort of rotation system to guarantee anybody who wants to raid can at least one or two nights a week (even if it's the easy bosses, you can still get some VP and kick it on Mumble).

@Thrawnkkar: It wouldn't hurt, to be sure, but I feel like the "mass market" of Giant Bomb users came and went. Dave was talking about it on Twitter, and it has gotten a few off-hand mentions on the podcast. I figure most people are aware of it, so I'm not sure if we can get a second wave of new members in through staff promotion. Perhaps.

As for the TNT idea, if you guys think that would be fun, we can ask Dave to revisit it. Also we can upset people in the same way Andy did by creating a wiki page for the guild :)
"
I'm sure Troidy would love to have his raid leadership skills on display to the world!

Welp, looks like I have some catching up to do.
