Holy crap.... Please tell me this is a joke...

I don't care what anyone says, Sarah Jessica Parker is sexy as fuck. It's not just looks, its attitude that matters also!

Said no heterosexual male ever.

I honestly don't know how to approach this type of discussion and I'm being dead honest, especially since my experience in the career field is the military. I really don't know how to react when a civilian complains to me that they are being treat badly or feel like they are being picked on at the work place. Because frankly, it's part of my job to be treat like shit on a daily basis. So I really don't know whether to tell them to suck it up or have empathy.

But I mean, there is obviously sexism in every damn area, and people should do a little more to understand where these females are coming from .

Correct course of action is to post that image of military dudes in a jeep in the desert with the caption "oh I'm so sorry your Thanksgiving didn't go as well as you hoped".

Really, if you've got the nuclear option in a conversation like that, you should drop it as often and early as possible. "Oh man you have a migraine? I GOT IN A KNIFE FIGHT YESTERDAY AND LOST A KIDNEY"

lol Believe you me, when I can get out of a conversation with my friends about how hard college life is, yeah I drop that excuse. I find it total bullshit when college kids complain to me. I would kill to be in their place.

However when situations like this arise, I don't like to use that excuse because this is a serious issue that when I enter the civilian work force, I personally hope doesn't exist. Plus, to constantly tell people to "fuck off, try doing my job" like some soldiers do, creates a divide for soldiers and civilians, one in which soldiers have to deal with when they themselves enter the civilian world. However like I said, other than feeling like they are expected to do certain things, there really weren't that many tweets that actually displayed serious cases of sexism. Since I don't really know the standard that civilians have for treatment at the workplace (once again, part of my job is to be treat like shit), I can't really have a personal opinion on how to resolve an issue like this.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned in my ways, perhaps from m military upbringing, but I don't think a 7 year old child should speak like that and think it's ok.

Let me ask you this. Are you a parent?

Alright I grew up in the military and that is currently my job, I will admit that I have no kids, and that I am 19, however I do spend an uncomfortable amount time (I always get really sick when I'm around them) around my friends kids, my tiny little cousins, and I volunteer to read to little kids and help with events at the elementary school. Soooo I have no parenting skills but my next post has nothing to do with telling you how to parent your kid so yeah no pulling the "Do you have kids?" argument on this one.

What kind of military upbringing did you have? Cause only about 3 of my friends throughout my entire life have grown up squeaky clean and have done no wrong to anybody. Seriously dude as a little kid I always got into trouble, and learned to swear at a young age, and I learned to swear from everybody else. Hell soldiers swear in front of their kids all the time, more-so than civilians in my opinion. And the vast majority of teenagers that were military brats (that I knew) always got into huge trouble since they always moved around and their reputation never followed them to a new town so they could do more dumb shit. Hell I was one of those kids. Don't say the military makes disciplined kids cause I'm gonna say that in my opinion and experience, the military is no better than the civilian world. Honestly I hate it when people say that kind of stuff. Fuck I hated my father growing up, and did stupid shit to spite him, in fact that was almost always the reason for military brats doing dumb things.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything but just gonna point out that... Us military brats are just as bad. Hell I remember being 14 and making this one girl cry all the time cause whenever she annoyed me I would just tell her to "Shut your disease infested mouth you fucking whore". And a ton of kids my age would laugh at that, yeah I agree that's a horrid move on my part but; I was a kid.

This whole concept seems stupid and pointless. I will never understand this apparent desire to prefix everything with "American", which seems to be so blind in its usage, that sometimes it prefixes things that are not even American.

I disagree, my senior year in High School we learned all about British Arts, and French Arts. We read and watched specific books, and movies that throughout the years random ass scholars have said defined those nations and the people within them. Hell, even at the German School in South Korea my friend identified specific books and movies that he described as "art that defined America". This practice isn't uncommon at all, it's actually a way for people to find things to identify with.

The OP made a mistake and assumed that Rockstar was an American company. Cool, he admitted his mistake, drive on.

I won't let valve hurt me again..... I was promised more Half Life a long time ago... It never came... It never came....

I'm sorry that they vaguely promised a new Half Life title, running a user friendly and highly successful digital distribution business and shipping three fantastic retail games since Episode 2 just seems to be getting in the way of that.

Never mind every other goddamn thing they're doing. I love Half-Life as much as everyone else, and I don't know how serious you're being, but the myriad of complainers act as if valve are sitting on their asses, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Please re-read my comment and you tell with all the honesty in your heart, whether you genuinely think that I was being serious with my comment.

I badly want HL3 but I'm also a PC gamer so that automatically tells you that I obviously use Steam, and who on this website hasn't played Portal? Or Counter Strike? Or TF2? Obviously I love Valve as a company.

You took that waaaay to seriously dude.

You are shitting on a game from 2001 that revolutionized the console shooter genre. Congratulations. Sure looking at that 11 year old game now looks dated and the pace off. Half-Life 2 is amazing but its pace doesn't hold up now. I think that they hold up incredibly well still which for a shooter period is good. Half-Life 4 is very pretty but there are still plenty of areas that look the same and making the "point" that there's lots of diversity is odd. The UNSC stuff looks the same, the forerunner stuff isn't really new but is just built off of existing Bungie art, and 343 has been drawing forerunner tech that way for years now. I would say you could take out 1/2 of the guns in the game and you'd never notice...its lazy design. There are just basically 3 different versions of each type of weapon. There isn't some revolutionary weapon balance going on here.

Ummmmm Half Life 2 still does hold up now, I just got done showing Half Life 2 to a bunch of Codboys who have never even heard of Half Life and they're all still playing it in my buddies room, seriously don't try and compare HL2 with Halo because those two games are completely different, yeah they may be shooters but one still hasn't had a true sequel since 2004 and people are still demanding one from Valve, the episodes were great but I can tell you that everyone wants a full game now.

Anyways..... I have yet to play Halo 4, but anyone that says that Reach and Halo 3 had a great storyline, is a Bungie fanboy. I'm just gonna flat out say it, cause those games sucked with storyline, I honestly didn't give a damn about anyone in Reach, and above all the damn game was soooooooo fucking boring.

Halo 3 was meant to end the trilogy and satisfy everyone, honestly.... It sucked, it was extremely disappointing and lacked the kind of assimilation that it needed to define itself in what was at the time, the next gen xbox. I know to use the phrase "define itself" with the word "assimilate" in the same sentence is contradictory. However understand this: Halo... Halo was THE game for the xbox, if you didn't have Halo then you weren't really a gamer. So when the 360 came out, and all the new tech, and hardware was shown off, I know me and my friends were pumped to see what Halo would be like. Seriously! I can remember the conversation with my brother, how the last Halo game was coming out for the 360, the very idea of a new engine, new graphics, new physics, new possibilities! And it was gonna be end of the war that had almost destroyed the entire galaxy. But rather than "assimilate" with the new tech that the 360 offered and take advantage of everything like Call Of Duty, Battlefield 2, Condemned, hell even Perfect Dark had.....When the time came for release, it ended up being the exact same Halo that just had slight better graphics, and a half assed storyline. Honestly Halo 3 was disappointing as hell. The only real reason it did well was the same reason MW3 did well; Decent enough for a good review, known well enough to sell no matter what.

  • Israel may or may not do a surgical strike on Iranian nuclear facilities within the next year,
  • Iran will continue to see crippling economic sanctions that may eventually bring them to accept a nuclear fuel trading program in exchange for giving up local enrichment,
  • the Bush tax cuts will expire for those making over $200k a year,
  • tensions will continue to mount in East Asia with China, Japan, and Korea upping the ante on territorial and cultural provocations,
  • President Obama will get some form of immigration reform, with possible nods to border security and a guest worker program,
  • the US economy will continue to rebound a bit as housing sees big gains in 2013, followed by a half a year to a year-long rough patch, before once again slowly improving,
  • Japan will see an ever-growing push to get off nuclear power, exacerbating continued issues with finding a consistent prime minister,
  • US troops will mostly leave Afghanistan by the end of 2014 and Afghanistan will still struggle to find some semblance of peace,
  • China will start to publicly struggle more with social unrest and work to distract the public as much as possible from a slowing economy and growing unemployment,
  • multiple domestic terrorist attacks will be thwarted while some attacks overseas similar to the one on the Libya consulate will increase concerns over the stability and legitimacy of fledgling reform governments in the Middle East,
  • global climate change will see even greater prominence in the news as new energy initiatives are pushed around the world, except for in China,
  • Syria's Assad regime will fall, leaving a void that local militias will struggle to fill, making Turkey and Israel more nervous than ever,
  • Germany will continue to grow its influence in the European Union and pressure leaders to establish more long term plans for maintaining fiscal strength,
  • and people in developed and developing countries will have further concerns over the direction of global finance and conflicts arising in our currency and oil markets.
  • ZOMBIE OUTBREAK!!!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!

That's all I've got.

Fixed......

I'm military and... Idk I look at it like this: Romney will pay me more but will deploy me more often, Obama won't pay me as much but will deploy me less..... I'm routing for Obama, however the day I got out of training was the deadline to register to vote in Texas, oh and... I live in Texas, Texas hasn't voted Democrat since 1976 for Jimmy Carter soooo no real point anyways in voting.
