Really, if you've got the nuclear option in a conversation like that, you should drop it as often and early as possible. "Oh man you have a migraine? I GOT IN A KNIFE FIGHT YESTERDAY AND LOST A KIDNEY"

lol Believe you me, when I can get out of a conversation with my friends about how hard college life is, yeah I drop that excuse. I find it total bullshit when college kids complain to me. I would kill to be in their place.

However when situations like this arise, I don't like to use that excuse because this is a serious issue that when I enter the civilian work force, I personally hope doesn't exist. Plus, to constantly tell people to "fuck off, try doing my job" like some soldiers do, creates a divide for soldiers and civilians, one in which soldiers have to deal with when they themselves enter the civilian world. However like I said, other than feeling like they are expected to do certain things, there really weren't that many tweets that actually displayed serious cases of sexism. Since I don't really know the standard that civilians have for treatment at the workplace (once again, part of my job is to be treat like shit), I can't really have a personal opinion on how to resolve an issue like this.

Alright I grew up in the military and that is currently my job, I will admit that I have no kids, and that I am 19, however I do spend an uncomfortable amount time (I always get really sick when I'm around them) around my friends kids, my tiny little cousins, and I volunteer to read to little kids and help with events at the elementary school. Soooo I have no parenting skills but my next post has nothing to do with telling you how to parent your kid so yeah no pulling the "Do you have kids?" argument on this one.

What kind of military upbringing did you have? Cause only about 3 of my friends throughout my entire life have grown up squeaky clean and have done no wrong to anybody. Seriously dude as a little kid I always got into trouble, and learned to swear at a young age, and I learned to swear from everybody else. Hell soldiers swear in front of their kids all the time, more-so than civilians in my opinion. And the vast majority of teenagers that were military brats (that I knew) always got into huge trouble since they always moved around and their reputation never followed them to a new town so they could do more dumb shit. Hell I was one of those kids. Don't say the military makes disciplined kids cause I'm gonna say that in my opinion and experience, the military is no better than the civilian world. Honestly I hate it when people say that kind of stuff. Fuck I hated my father growing up, and did stupid shit to spite him, in fact that was almost always the reason for military brats doing dumb things.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything but just gonna point out that... Us military brats are just as bad. Hell I remember being 14 and making this one girl cry all the time cause whenever she annoyed me I would just tell her to "Shut your disease infested mouth you fucking whore". And a ton of kids my age would laugh at that, yeah I agree that's a horrid move on my part but; I was a kid.

I disagree, my senior year in High School we learned all about British Arts, and French Arts. We read and watched specific books, and movies that throughout the years random ass scholars have said defined those nations and the people within them. Hell, even at the German School in South Korea my friend identified specific books and movies that he described as "art that defined America". This practice isn't uncommon at all, it's actually a way for people to find things to identify with.

I'm sorry that they vaguely promised a new Half Life title, running a user friendly and highly successful digital distribution business and shipping three fantastic retail games since Episode 2 just seems to be getting in the way of that.

Anyways..... I have yet to play Halo 4, but anyone that says that Reach and Halo 3 had a great storyline, is a Bungie fanboy. I'm just gonna flat out say it, cause those games sucked with storyline, I honestly didn't give a damn about anyone in Reach, and above all the damn game was soooooooo fucking boring.

Halo 3 was meant to end the trilogy and satisfy everyone, honestly.... It sucked, it was extremely disappointing and lacked the kind of assimilation that it needed to define itself in what was at the time, the next gen xbox. I know to use the phrase "define itself" with the word "assimilate" in the same sentence is contradictory. However understand this: Halo... Halo was THE game for the xbox, if you didn't have Halo then you weren't really a gamer. So when the 360 came out, and all the new tech, and hardware was shown off, I know me and my friends were pumped to see what Halo would be like. Seriously! I can remember the conversation with my brother, how the last Halo game was coming out for the 360, the very idea of a new engine, new graphics, new physics, new possibilities! And it was gonna be end of the war that had almost destroyed the entire galaxy. But rather than "assimilate" with the new tech that the 360 offered and take advantage of everything like Call Of Duty, Battlefield 2, Condemned, hell even Perfect Dark had.....When the time came for release, it ended up being the exact same Halo that just had slight better graphics, and a half assed storyline. Honestly Halo 3 was disappointing as hell. The only real reason it did well was the same reason MW3 did well; Decent enough for a good review, known well enough to sell no matter what.

I'm military and... Idk I look at it like this: Romney will pay me more but will deploy me more often, Obama won't pay me as much but will deploy me less..... I'm routing for Obama, however the day I got out of training was the deadline to register to vote in Texas, oh and... I live in Texas, Texas hasn't voted Democrat since 1976 for Jimmy Carter soooo no real point anyways in voting.
