This was the feature that got me to buy premium.

Specifically, it was Elderscrolls: Daggerfall, which if I am not mistaken was the first ever Random PC game. Back when they were trying to incorporate eating breakfast at the same time. If I remember rightly, Random PC game was almost just a podcast, or simple video format where Vinny and Dave would discuss old PC games over breakfast.

But it became playing Random PC games every so often - Dave totally hated playing Daggerfall, but I loved watching them do it. It's arguably still the best Random PC game episode to date.

Reading this has poitned out just how little patience I have for hard games. I'd say the part in the forest of the first town of the Witcher 2, where you have to hunt down those beetle queens. Getting to it a second time is what stopped me from completing my second attempt at the game.

Things improve considerably not long after this though.

The difficulty curve in that game is backwards - The game starts much harder than it should - and then curves downwards as it gives you more abilities and teaches you more techniques without making the enemies any more difficult to compensate. Especially recently with the enhanced edition updates.

i don't care though, because it's challenging *enough* - and the game over all is incredible. I love Witcher 2, so so much.

But yeah, when that game first game out? Like, the few hours following its release? Fuck that. It was unreasonably difficult - and parts of the internet were up in arms about it. Rightfully so.

Man, my PC sucks, but I kinda want to play these games...

Is the 360 version of the Witcher 2 alright? There isn't any cut content or anything is there? Also how important is it to play the first Witcher before two?

I recently finished it on 360, and it is was a phenominal experience.

The drawbacks to the console version are minimal at best. If you don't know the difference from the PC version, you seriously won't care. They're minimal graphical/animation/menu changes.

You should play the Witcher 2 on 360. But to enjoy it fully, expect a meaty, complex story to get really invested in - really get invested in. Read the Codex, the character bios, read the questlog fully.

There is so much depth to the story and the world in Witcher 2, that if you let it - it will blow you away.

I adore this series.

Brad is kind of an awkward person, so he gets up and leaves things without announcing his departure quite often I noticed.

It's especially awkward to see during livestreams, since he has to unhook his mic and so on. One time, he was just about to get up and Ryan sternly said "Do NOT walk between me and the screen right now" - Which suggests to me that Brad is kind of known for wanting to "Escape" livestreams and podcasts and so on when he isn't needed. Out of everyone, Brad is the least confident on camera.

I only notice because I share the same kind of phobias with these sorts of things.

Although he's gotten a lot better over the last year or so.

Also, this isn't a criticism. I like Brad a lot.

Just an observation.

There was this indie game that was made in England and I think it was built on the Net Yaroze thing, and it was only released (as far as I know) on an OPSM demo disk. Two players (or one player versus cpu) - It was sort of like Puzzle Bobble. You chose from different small animals (I always chose the little Pig guy because he was AWESOME) and you had to throw little colour coded bubbles upwards onto your board and make them connect according to colour, adding them to your opponents board and beating them by filling their board. It had a 90s euro dance soundtrack, and cutesey graphics and me and my friend spent fucking HOURS AND HOURS playing it. It was fantastic -And I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called. I would love to know what happened to the people who made it, if anything.

Fuck yes I remember playing it on that demo disk though also have no idea of the name of it, but that shit was awesome!

Also fucking Net Yaroze thats something I thought I would never hear about again in my life!

WE. MUST. FIND OUT. WHAT THIS GAME. WAS CALLED.

Agh! I remember this!! I haven't thought about that game since... since I played it back then, yonks ago! Can't... remember.... the.... name X_X

After doing some googling it turns out to be Super Bub Contest

My hat goes off to you sir. Thank you for this.

I love *authenticity* in my shooters.

I live in a country that excersises gun control.

I have no desire to buy a Glock.

So if the article has any accuracy in it's theory, the problem is apparently not the videogame which features the authentic weaponry.

@Branthog Please don't think that the author's nationality is the reason for his ignorance in this article.

I am from the UK, and I have my opinions on gun control, but this article is beyond stupid - And I disagree with him COMPLETELY. This is a stupid link to make and is nothing like candy cigarettes whcih was truely exploitative.

Seriously, the author being in the UK has nothing to do with this. It is just straight up, plain ol' ignorance.
