This sucks, lol. On the front page, nearly every forum post is about Skyrim, and I feel left out. I don't have the game yet, I'm not even sure when I'm going to bother picking it up - probably when a GOTY edition comes out ;) - so I feel at a loss. I have nothing to add to most conversations and I want to avoid any and all spoilers.

I hope to see more duders talk about sandwiches or something, that is my bread and butter... Oh the puns.

Hmm, this has become like a blog, so I shall make it a blog post instead, and say hey, more of you guys should follow me or message me on my wall, I want to get to know the GiantBomb community more.. I lost touch with a lot of guys, so hey! Gimme a follow or write on my wall and we can chat abouts games...

Just don't spoil Skyrim for me.

@nintendoeats: Hey, L.A. Noire is pretty good, especially for the first time you play it! Although, yes. Skyrim does seem like the better choice, you have failed yourself.

@nintendoeats: Only 4? I have 14 people on my list playing it.

I'm waiting for the GotY-edition, all I have to do is hold on til Saints Row The Third comes out.

All this Skyrim almost makes me miss the frequent girl advice threads. Almost.

@Baillie: That PC port is locked at 30 fps, but regularly dips below that because it's poorly multithreaded (It always maxes out the first core of my Q6600). I've also had 2 patches of more than a gig each since it came out. They both fixed major things (missing VO and reflective surfaces that were busted). It has been an unpleasant experience up and down. I should have just bought the 360 version and saved myself some damn money.

I wonder if rendering at 60 breaks the custom facial animation stuff, or they couldn't get it to look normal or something. Either way shoddy PC ports are always a drag.

I make an effort to avoid threads or forums for any game I play until I beat the game. There are very few exceptions to this. If it's a game I can beat in a two or three days, it's not hard. Haven't gotten Skyrim yet, but I haven't been looking at any threads for it either.

It is a great game.

I feel that way about every game I am looking forward to.

G.o.t.Y deliberations will start soon, but Skyrim is such a huge release though, people will still be talking about it well into December. Every time I see a Skyrim thread, it makes me want to go play more Skyrim. Even though It's out, I'm still super giddy about it.

Yeah I'm not interested in Skyrim and 50% or more of the new topics are all Skyrim.....oh well I'm getting Halo Anniversary today.

It's like Dark Souls all over again. :(

I didn't/won't play either game, but my roommates love them both and it's kind of fun to stop in their rooms every once in a while to see their progress. I just love games that draw a community together like this, even if I'm left out of it. Reminds me of the days my friends and I used to work together to get through Pokemon.

unlucky. its been flawless on my i7 2600/GTX570 PC

I felt the same way when Dark Souls came out. It seemed like every day there were atleast 2 or 3 posts on the main page about it and I didn't own it!

I had a nice sandwich today.

Having to avoid the forums because of Skyrim. **tisk, tisk, tisk.** Be glad that is the only reason you avoid the GB forums, because I got it worse.

It was between Batman and Skyrim for GotY for me, but I'm on the PS3 version and the framerate is dropping way below any playable framerate. Now, it has dropped down and my excitement has died down a lot.
