Hey guys, I've been itching to get back into playing Mass Effect, it's seriously like a drug. I think about playing it nearly everyday, so yesterday I decided I was going to go back and play through the games, and hopefully link it up with ME3 when that comes out.

My biggest reason for coming back to the game, was to play as femshep, I've heard good things! Anyway, I have recorded and uploaded the first part yesterday, and will be putting up the rest daily.

Some questions I'd like to ask you guys;

• Shall I do running commentary, like how the the GB staff do?
• Would you like to have input on my decisions on the game?

• Is there any suggestions you would like to give me?

My immediate thought was a "In Shepard's Mind"-kind of let's play. Like in Freeman's mind, only you just voice Shepard's thoughts before choosing dialogue. :P

Probably not. It would be better if you made sure the video was good (things get done, you don't suck to the point that it prevents the former, etc.) before actually commenting on it.

If this proves popular enough, it would be kinda cool. Don't be afraid to choose for the audience if that doesn't hold up, though.

Besides this crap? Not really, as I've never played a Mass Effect game.

I don't know why I always deny and refuse to accept the fact that up until Dragon Age 2, Bioware was a damn fine developer that knew how to blur the lines between a really good movie and a really good game. Why do I have this hate for them deep down inside? Top notch production values that made for unforgettable experiences. 
I need to play Mass Effect again. 
  

@Baillie: IMO commentary from youtubers is only preferable when the game's funny or crazy shit is happening. Otherwise I'd enjoy your playthrough more if you don't commentate, and I think I'm gonna subscribe to you and start watching it. 
Input on the decisions would be good, and it's too early for suggestions.

@Video_Game_King: I'm glad, doing commentary is never that fun, especially when it's just me, myself. You should perhaps watch my playthrough and see how the game is for you? I adored the game, although the start is pretty slow...

@AhmadMetallic: I agree, it's easily one of the best story driven games I've ever played, I've said I'd like to see a movie version, but is there really any need? I hope you enjoy my run!

Also, female Shepard so far is jarring me. I think I may prefer the male version, but being only 20 minutes in, it's way too early to judge.

I've a rule against things like that.

@Baillie: Good stuff, I just had my own endurance run before Christmas. All my data was deleted and my character didn't even exist anymore after putting in almost 100 hours from both games.

So I decided to re-play both games back-to-back and it literally took me almost a month and half of non-stop play to fully complete both. (I didn't have DLC the first time around so it took me longer)

WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE ENGINEER. COME ON
