@hero_swe: That was also the only boss fight I died on when I replayed it last week. I played it through on a Vita and didn't really have an issue with it at all. Actually the first time because lunge is mapped to square, I tried to only use that attack so I didn't have to use the terrible Vita sticks but it did so little damage I just couldn't kill him faster than he could kill me.

But second time I just used the sticks and found it SUPER easy... once you learn his attack pattern it's not really that difficult at all... tbh I found the Fatman boss fight the most stressful and the Vamp fight the least stressful (lol grenade launcher)...

His pattern wasn't the problem. It was the fact that for some reason everytime Raiden swung his sword he would start spinning in some direction, so if you tried to do a basic 3 hit combo. You'd be facing 90 degrees away from the direction either side of the way you started. Always ended up facing away from solidus which meant I only either got two hits in on him or he parried two and then just hit me while I was stuck in animation on the third swing.

I also beat him eventually, only took about 3 more tries just doing single swings and patience. What baffles me still is that I used the sword before that point and he never did it there, it must be some corrolation between the "dynamic" camera.

I think it was maybe the way you where using the stick? If you did a circle motion with the stick he would spin around, so maybe it was that? Using the Vita I simply mashed at the right stick when ever I got a chance and second time I breezed through it np and never had him spin round, though that could just be because the Vita's sticks are garbage.

But from a narrative point of view I do really like the move to fight the end boss with a sword.

Solidus. He had trouble with Liquid. It'll be hell for him.

agreed, I found Solidus to be the only boss that was a real pain to beat, even on my 2nd or 3rd play through back in the day

That's an awesome design, I really love it alot.

Though I think it would be super cool if you did one for each series. So one for MGS and another for MGS2. I would totally buy one of those shirts though! Keep up the good work.

Oh and you where right with the first version, the off-set totally looks better !

I don't really have any examples of 'corruption' but I think that this whole 'gamergate' nonsense has been reported on really lazily, I was linked to this video and for the first time I had an angle and an incite into this whole thing.

I think that 'corruption' is the wrong word for the problem a lot of people are having with the current video games media, and I think the problem they have is that Anita and her views on gender equality are being pushed as the answer and the right and only right approach for video games and that really, we are all horrible sexists etc etc...
It's really hard to find any mainstream outlet for video games that openly disagrees with her POV or opinions and instead they simply parrot her video's and mae out she is some saint. There isn't any balance, it's all one way. It's fine to have an opinion and personally I think that even if you don't agree with her, its important to read people who side with her and indeed watch her videos becasue it helps you form a more rounded and balanced opinion.

But all we get in the media and twitter is retorts of her views /opinions her video's and retweets of people sending insane death threats, with little else.

I really like a lot of the work that some of the people reporting 'gamergate' have done in the past, but I've been pretty disappointed on the lack of creativity, reporting and balance that they have shown.

As someone who is pro-gay rights I think boycotting something because you don't believe in the same things as them is pretty ridicules.

We want the world to be a more open and fair place, yet if you don't share that opinion you should be boycotted? Seems a lite backward to me

The version I downloaded ended abruptly while they were deciding if they wanted to continue playing Towerfall. The video was 60 minutes long.

yeah exactly the same thing happened to me

I'm just going to put the reversible cover art in the thread, for anyone who stumbles onto this and is too lazy to click on that other guy's link.

I think it's WAY better than the regular cover art.

its also US only :/
