I'm a premium member paid up until 2025. In all the below apps on iOS ads are playing in the premium feeds (Bombcast and Game Mess Mornings):

• Apple Podcasts
• Downcast
• Pocketcasts
• iCatcher

I've been using Overcast but it no longer accepts my username and password for any Giantbomb feeds.

Tested premium feeds in each one of the apps on macOS and Windows. Same thing. Ads a plenty. Even tested the premium feeds on Fedora Linux in gPodder. Same behavior.

What am I doing wrong? I'm paying to not have ads but that doesn't seem to help. And this has been going on for months now.

If the ads are going to be a constant going forward then what is my subscription even for?

Just wanted to let you know that ads did NOT show up on Monday's GMM. But ad ARE on today's (9/20) GMM. This is on the subscriber's feed.

@dtoast: Thank you sir! I wasn't aware that it's a known issue. I'll track this over this week and make updates.

9/18 Game Mess - No ads.

9/19 - No Game Mess (cause BOMBCAST BABAY)

9/20 - Will update again once it hits my phone.

I'm using the Subscribers RSS feed for Game Mess Mornings and it's got a bunch of ads in it. 4 ads that the beginning, 2 at the break then 3+ at the end.

Why are there ads in the subscriber's feed? Or am I using the wrong feed? I feel like there shouldn't be any ads on a feed I'm paying for.

I'm so bummed out by this. Jess has brought so much LIFE to the site and Jason has been awesome since he joined the site. (I miss Fighting Science!)

I've been a Premium subscriber since day one. So what's the point of subscribing if the people I want to support get chucked to the curb?

I love you. Each of you. You have each brought me so much wonder and joy for the past ~15 years through everything you've done at Gamespot and Giantbomb. I cannot say 'thank you' enough for letting me (and millions of others) into your lives like you have.

I'm sad because it feels like I'm loosing family members. But I wish you all the best with whatever is next.

So a new development! I attempted to add the HD video feed to the Pocketcasts web player and it displayed that the 'Show is on break of finsihed'. That tells me it's not accepting the api key. Sounds like a bug to me but I'm not sure if it's a bug on their side or on GB's side. Should I file a bug report here on GB?

In the mean time I've installed PodcastAddict on my phone and the video feed works fine there.

Pocketcasts had a major update this week but it seems to have broken the HD video rss on my android device. Videos stutter and freeze. So I removed the podcast from my list and re-added the HD feed via the below link

But when I click 'subscribe' it only pulls videos from 2016 and never updates to anything newer. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? I've tried the link above on four different desktop apps (like Gpodder or other podcasting downloading programs) and it works just fine.

ARIKA has release two new videos showing off gameplay. And I think the announcer is Vinny?! At least it kind sounds like him.
