One nice thing to know about those gargoyle's is that they don't have poise. This means that any hit will stun them. Try and agro one at a time, draw them in close, two hand your uchi and don't stop swinging until they die. I like to roll with < 25% equip so that you can more easily dodge their attacks, since their lightning attacks do quite a bit of damage through some of the more common medium shields (balders, hollow knight, heater).

Also, I have been able to knock the center one off of the perch using simple bow and arrow fairly consistently. I suggest that to thin out the herd a little bit. Agro the rest one at a time using the bow and you should be golden. Just note that you are about 5 minutes of solid gameplay from the most frustrating (for most) part of the game. Let us know if you need help with that part.

From all the rumors surrounding the new Xbox, it sounds kind of like I don't want that one at all. I'll see how the PS4 pans out and go from there. I'm happy with how my PC is performing currently though.

Here's my beginner tips to Dark Souls, but only because the game does a bad job at informing you of this stuff:

- You should upgrade your weapons. Using un-upgraded weapons past the Taurus Demon is absolutely silly. Upgrade at blacksmiths with different kinds of titanite. There are different kinds of upgrade paths that favor certain builds, but the most important thing is to upgrade (I suggest the normal path, personally).
-Upgrade your armor, but after you upgrade your weapon.
-Upgrading weapons is more important than leveling up.
-When leveling up, concentrate on Vitality, Endurance, and your attacking stat (Dex, Strength, Intelligence, Faith). If you are a caster, you should put some points in Attunement too. Most people recommend not leveling any particular stat to more than 40 because you get diminishing returns, but there are some exceptions. Don't level resistance. It's useless.
-You will die. It will not be a big deal. Any amount of souls can be recovered and humanity can be farmed. Invest in a couple rings of sacrifice and wear them after death to make corpse runs for a particularly high number of souls, if you are that worried about it.

That's it. I know I'm kind of late to the party, so you have probably read more information than you need to know, but this is the only information that I thought would have been nice to know before I started playing. Most everything else takes away from the experience.

jeff had the true ending revealed to him through a spoiler link. He kept a straight face and tried to guide Vinny to the true ending without telling him what was going on. They used a guide on the test, because that test is not made for Americans.

I replayed ME1 recently and thought it was a blast. I always thought that adept was the best class to play in ME1 (severely nerfed in ME2 though). A ton of fun, even without a lot sturdiness. I played on the setting before insanity without too many problems. Just save all the time and it shouldn't be that bad. You definitely don't need to grind though. You don't need to grind on any difficulty. I don't know where you got that impression.

You can charm or intimidate Wrex. Just put as many points into one of the categories as you can and you should be safe to do whatever.

Having five dudes in a podcast is already pretty overkill. Adding another is probably not the best idea, in my opinion. He could stand in for others I suppose, but being a regular isn't going to make the podcast a better podcast.

Spoilers aren't normally a big deal because they aren't generally that important to the game. But, also, Mass Effect 3 came out over a year ago so if you are concerned about the main game story spoilers in that, you should probably calm down. If you are talking about Citadel DLC, I don't think he really spoiled much besides "Oh hey, there is this really great house party scene and it's awesome." Most everything else didn't seem very specific and concentrated more on the tone of the DLC, which is totally acceptable.

Jeff thinks that giant bomb scores pretty much align perfectly with how metacritic presents them. He doesn't have a problem with it.

@LtSquigs This isn't the same bug, but it is an inbox bug (don't know if it has been handled as of yet, though). My inbox says that I have a bunch of unread PM's, but I actually don't.

The top image is what it looks like from any page on the site. The second image is what it looks like in my inbox (empty)

I'm doing my second playthrough of the whole series right now. I'm cruising through the second game, but I'll probably wait for this to come out before jumping into ME3 so that I can experience all the series has to offer for the last time (and see if I agree with Brad about how different the DLC makes the game feel).

Kind of excited to jump back into the multiplayer too, which has changed a lot since I last played it. I really enjoyed what I played of it initially.
