For myself, I find making sure not having anything to eat ~2 hours before bed, being in a totally dark room (dark, thick curtains) and having some kind of background noise (I downloaded a 2 hour sample of 'rain' to my phone and let that play till I fall asleep) is great =)

Edit: also, I had really, really bad insomnia for years (like not sleeping until about 5 in the morning, having to get up at 6 or 7) but it's gotten a lot better after controlling some of that stuff.

Bigger dudes do need more sleep.... Kessler is packed down there, you know.

I....am confused. Does this means because he is over weight or because he has such a massive dick it drains him of energy so he requires more sleep?

Dude, if you had as big of a dick as Kessler you'd understand that morning wood really takes a lot out of you.

Sony.

I wanted and want to love the Wii U, but I simply can't see myself getting it. I do see myself getting a Vita though, and for me that means Sony was the strongest showing.

No.

The Vita is a seperate 'console.' You can use it away from your home, so it isn't even really comparable.

I don't know yet... I haven't seen anything that really makes me think 'THIS IS THE NEXT GENERATION'

This is (as predicted by the bombcast) a really big DS to me. The graphics are indeed better, but not amazingly so (though that bird demo was cool)

A lot of the game footage looked either amazing (metro, ninja gaiden) or crappy (the stuff with miis, etc)

I'm on the fence...

I think Sony was way more effective

You guys who are saying 'he's an asshole' and 'what a dick' don't seem to know what you're talking about...

The joke wasn't belittling nor was it in bad taste. Why do you think the BP oil spill got press for months? Tsunamis, earthquakes, etc. The reality is that bad situations are big news, and the way they get resolved or at least start to get reconstructed is deftly interesting to people. It's intrinsic in our nature, we care when something bad happens and we want to see how it'll get better. That's what Tretton was calling attention to in a light-hearted way, it wasn't asshole-ish at all.

For the record, I'm not saying the PSN outage is as important as a tsunami or oil spills, just an analogy.

Religion: Atheist

Science: Astrophysics and I are on really good terms (taking courses in cosmology), so yes, I believe science is something to be believed

Extra Terrestrials: Yes, though I find it highly unlikely that we'll ever meet them

The passwords are out and public...

I looked through to see if mine was there, but didn't see it thankfully.

I don't know how anyone can support these hackers anymore... The thing is that now lots of sites are not necessarily siding with the hackers; but against Sony for not preparing more/having more security. I personally think that that's a horrible side to take. As Jeff and the guys have mentioned on the podcast, the internet is viewed differently in Japan/Asia so they don't exactly 'know' the standards for that kind of stuff. Plus, saying 'they deserved it' is completely stupid - it's not Sony that's paying the consequences, it's the end users whose data got leaked...

Ugh.
Woah, how is that an excuse?! "Sorry our security sucks and your personal details were stolen, it's all good since we're Japanese and didn't know better?" Are you fucking for real? Massive international company, if they don't understand the basic requirements of doing business in this day and age, they should be shut down. Regardless of whether this is real or not (looking more like it is), people making excuses for Sony here need to stop and realise how serious this is. Whether the hackers are douchebags or not is irrelevant; Sony is potentially leaking YOUR supposedly secure information across the board, and they are leaking it like a sieve because they have pathetic security.

Of course it is real.. It takes 3 seconds to look up all the compromised account information.

I am not blaming Sony considering

A) They did not instigate anything that should warrant an attack like this
B) The hackers went searching, they likely would have tried to get through any failsafe
C) Again, the cultural thing

Yes, they are a multinational corporation and yes they're somewhat at fault here; but, again, the fact is that they did not choose to get attacked. If I'm walking through the streets of my city and get shot in the stomach, will you say "well fuck, you're a sane person why weren't you wearing kevlar??" Though the analogy isn't 1:1, Hopefully what I'm saying makes sense.

I simply can't support the hackers in any sense, what are they even fighting for if anything? (yes, I know what 'for the lulz' entails, I used 4chan back in high school but grew out of it)

Idiotic, this whole situation.
