But... you don't always need to play a game to predict whether it will 'succeed' or 'fail', so I'm not really sure whose bubble you think you're bursting. You seem to be missing the simple fact that those kind of people do that shit on purpose to get on people's nerves. Has nothing to do with them not realizing they are jackasses..they already know. The more you go back at them, the more they will keep going. Nothing you say, or do, will make them stop. Which is why it's best to ignore them, blocking messages from them/muting them if possible, and just move on to a new match/game. All of that goes for the internet in general, not just online gaming.

From your blog posts I can tell that you're pretty sensitive to these things, otherwise you wouldn't post the way that you do. Is there something else in your life that's bothering you deep down inside?

Don't psycho-analyze me. Its as simple as this though things are the way they are and its very hard to change anyone. I'd like some people (even just a few) to realize their being jackasses and stop it.

I have an honest question for you. Why do you care so much about what people say to you in online games? They're just games, and people like to be assholes in games to annoy others and feel better about themselves. Anybody with experience playing games online knows this. If you're so hurt by what these people say, be it in gaming forums or in the online games themselves, it shows how insecure you are with your own feelings. It seems to me like the average poster on Giant Bomb is more intelligent than the average poster on those other sites. Every community has its bad points, but the Giant Bomb community is relatively pretty good.

Note: Due to the mostly negative comments I got for Hate to burst your Bubble #1 I'm skipping to my last and biggest problem with the gaming comunity at large and ending this.

I hate to burst your Bubble but people who judge a game before its even out with things like "This will fail" and/or "This is horrible" are the stupidest people you will find when it comes to gaming. To those people I say don't judge what you haven't played or seen IN PERSON. I'm sure i'll get lots of hate for this but oh well its the last one because as I explained in a comment on the last blog I expected better from the GB community.
