Games I can't get into.

Way too slow and awkward to be a decent action game, too simple to be a good rpg. Why do people like these games so much?

You can't look up in these games, they have frame rate issues before frame rate issues existed, and 9 in particular was brutally difficult just for the hell of it. I can't deny the awesome music though.

I think my biggest complaint about this game is the vehicle sections. Holy shiiiiiiiit are they long. Another issue I have is how unsatisfying the shooting feels, and how some of the puzzles seem to exist only to show off the physics engine.

It's less that I don't like Soul Calibur and more 3-dimensional fighters in general. It's way too awkward trying to pull off moves in something other than a 2d fighting plane. But I picked Soul Calibur over something like Tekken, mostly because of the stupid character design. Way to cater to the 12-year-olds.

The gameplay's fine, but honestly, how many times can you repeat the "I'm so macho LOOK AT THIS SHIT I JUST DID RIGHT HURRRR" routine? It really prevents me from enjoying this franchise.

I get that it did alot for the console fps genre, but the level design, enemies, and storytelling is so uninspired.

DMC pretty much falls in the same camp of God of War; excess for the sake of excess, except replace tits with Matrix slowdowns.
