Yeah, it's not current gen, but it was just 47 years ahead of its time. it was like the Orson Welles or Ernest Hemingway of consoles. It should be honoured...
Dreamcast should be an alignment option
i suppose we should have an atari alignment too? maybe a colecovision alignment? cd-i fanboyism anyone?
"so should the Jaguar and the Neo-Geo"Agreed. The jaguar had a cool name. I half-expected it to roar when I turned it on.

"Agreed. I don't care what anyone says. The Dreamcast is still thinking? Fuck, dude! That IS an advanced console! Not even these current gen motherfuckers have a thought process.
It's STILL Thinking"
"Well, it's dead. That may be why.Umm......

Rush Rush Rally Racing
Age Of The Beast
Amnesia: Psychic Spelunker
Alice Dreams
Donk: Samurai Duck
These are but a few.
Wow nice to see some ignorant fanboys, very few consoles have ever garnered such a fantastic library in two years. That is undeniable. I could make a list of great games (of which I do have a list of recommendations to new owners) or go on about how on paper Dreamcast is more powerful than PS2 (which I have a blog about over on 1up) and we never saw it's true potential, but chances are you'd all be too slow to understand it if you have not caught on to Dreamcast being regarded as a true hardcore gamer console already.
Nevermind the fact that it introduced the first full fledged unified On-line service to consoles, and the first MMORPG to consoles, or popularized pressure sensitive buttons. Maybe it's Virtual console-like service called Dream library for TG 16 and Genesis available in japan. Or it's amazing fighting game and SHMUP library. Foolish, foolish trolls.
Edit: Hello Lou, nice to see another 1upper here
I am playing Shenmue as I type this post. It still shouldn't be an alignment though, as much as I adore the console.
While it might be silly to have it as an alignment, it's a good opportunity to rant about Sega and Dreamcastocity.
"No. It died now get over it. No alignment for you.
"
Right, but other than Nintendo what other video game company manufactured first party consoles for 20 years or more? SEGA.
