Omar Rodríguez-López (The Mars Volta and At the Drive In) has an album coming out called Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fungus which I thought was pretty brilliant...
Pretty much anything by the Animal Collective is guaranteed to be pretty strange, but in a totally genius sort of way. Not necessarily their weirdest, but still: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxvGHQHiY70
Something about this quote just screams cheesy infomercial. I can't get this image of a guy with an obviously forced huge smile saying that straight to the camera while it zooms out to reveal just how he's breaking law out of my head. Maybe followed by "SET IT AND FORGET IT!" or something along those lines. But that is probably....no...most definitely just me.....
That's quite a bit of variety you have there! It's hard to know where to start in response to list like that. But, you have some albums that I really love on it, so I assume we have moderately similar tastes. So, here some great albums: Boxer by The National Armchair Apocrypha by Andrew Bird Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Ros Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer? by of Montreal
"i dont care what anyones say the MOUSE TRAP is Numbero Uno "
I never liked the game, I just liked making the trap... much more fun"
That game was downright fascinating to me the first time I played it (I was a youngin'), but after that I wasn't really into it. Like most people, I too just resigned to making the trap and setting it off....
