I have to agree with everyone saying there is a real lack of creativity on the site. Like many of you I've followed them since '04 on Gamespot, created a "Gravatar" account when they had the temp website up, and signed up for premium day one. But for me I started to get really bored with their content around 2015-16. Dan brought in some new energy and some fun ideas like steal my sunshine and Metal Gear Scanlon, but my enthusiasm was dying. Once Ben and Abby came on I knew I couldn't stick around anymore, they really aren't my thing. I don't feel bad saying that considering we watch and pay for personalities here.

I let my membership lapse two years ago, but sometimes I check back onto the site like creeping on the Facebook of an EX you didn't want to dump but needed to, to see if they've changed what drove you away lol. But yeah I really don't know what they're doing here anymore. Since the Covid lock down started I've just been scanning through timestamps on the youtube version of the podcasts to see if they talk about anything interesting. There is no way I can listen to any of their stuff all the way through anymore with how low energy they are.

I've been doing it for about a year now, tinder, bumble, coffee meets bagel ect. I've had a few long term relationships and those all came up organically (met in school, friend of a friend set us up ect) but I never gave walking up to a girl in a bar, or first date with basically a complete stranger an honest shot. So I've seen this as a great way to simply gain that experience. I've gone on 30+first dates, to varying degrees of success from being stood up, to one night stands.

I'm really glad that I'm doing it. I've found that over this year I've obviously become way more comfortable developing romantic connections, and that it's far easier for me to walk away if the situation isn't right for me.

My advice would be to be as open as possible, and be descriptive with your account, I can't tell you how many girls I didn't message, or stopped talking to b/c there was so little information to go off of lol. Also if it's not there don't force it, if you had a great 1st / 2nd date and she pulls out then just let her, it's always better to look ahead. Like other people have said just have fun!

PS1/2 are my golden age consoles, but I'm not super interested in a mini anything to put on my shelf. I'd get one at 50 though.

**EDIT** Granted if they started selling it at $50 I'd probably say I'm will to pay $25 for it.

Throw Retropie on there and you can think of a few fabrication projects for what would be a cool video game thing. I made a portable based off the PSONE and put one in my coffee table.

Not really, I get free games on twitch's launcher which is pretty nice, but I still buy games on steam,

As a matter of fact I downloaded Brutal Legend on twitch's launcher a few months ago but there was no controller support for the DS4. I probably could have looked for drivers or something, but I thought it would be easier to get it on steam for $2.50 and just have the support right there.

Best: You can pick up almost any mainstream game at random and expect a high base level of quality.

Worst: Everything around games, dlc, micro-tansactions, exploitation of patches, toxic people from either side.

I LOVE KH 1 and 2, as a matter of fact I'm playing 1 again for the millionth time, but I've always thought the first 2 Disney worlds were a bit of a aimless drag (me playing it over and over may not help my opinion on it). The game really opens up for me once you start leveling up and getting good abilities, but that's a few hours in, so you'll need to decide if that's worth it to you.

No Man's Sky. I want to see what it is, but I'm only willing to spend $15 (I'd be distinctly happier paying 10) b/c of all the nonsense with the buildup and launch, and the fact that I'll just play it for a few hours max.

I don't like indies so the only games I pick up form plus are the big ones. The games that I was pleased to get were R&C, MGS5, Infamous SS, and Knack. I've beaten them all but Knack, (which I may eventually beat... probably not) and I already bought those games new on disk so it's nice to have a digital option I guess?
