Just for a few of you that may not be aware of the downloaded installer issue thats hitting a few of the regions, EU and a couple of others require you to download a new installer from this location, and point it to the directory you downloaded the original one to. You should see it 'check' rather than download the 8 gigs all the way to the end and then download the missing 50mb of files from the packed installer.

Had 3 mates fall prey to 'broken installs' that were not aware of this extra download. hope everyone has an awesome launch :D 3 and a half hours to go!!

I might get to play in 3 hours (At like 4PM for me) from now instead of at 2AM like I had figured out. For some reason it thinks I'm in Europe, it defaulted everything to British and has me defaulted to the Europe server. It also says in the "Breaking News" bar that the server unlocks at 12AM CEST instead of 12AM PDT like it should given that I'm in Canada. How odd. It might be because I have a registered European SC2 account on my Battlenet ID along side my North American account.

I clicked the "most posts" linky thing on the first page, saw Hitman's paranoid status, and started laughing hysterically. That guy was INSANE.

This is one of the few cases where the P2P part of the Blizzard downloader is actually good. I'm getting ~10MB/s. Usually for older games you have to disable P2P or it'll take a week to download.

Just saw this on my Winamp and had to post it. This song is hell of Summer Jam, lyrics are nonsensical (look up the translation, they're goofy) but it's crazy fun to listen to.

Most people seem to be crucifying the OP or claiming he's a troll, but I think he's right. Modern multiplayer shooters are awful. They hold your hand and give you shiny new things as rewards to come back for instead of giving you truly rewarding gameplay that makes you actually want to play the game. Then again, the whole trend of having to have incentives built into games so people will continue to play them is why I haven't almost any new games to come out in the last year or so. If the multiplayer in your game is good I will keep playing it, if you have to give me a reason to come back other than good gameplay then you are doing it wrong.
