Likely just hosting them, maybe letting them use the studio. 8-4 are apparently not being hosted by 1up any more. CBSi super-podcast hub?

This isn't really possible given one host lives in Korea, one lives in Arizona, JP switches between Texas and New York, Tyler lives in Texas (soon to be Oakland because of his wife), and Day9 lives in LA.

I figured this when I saw Brad was gonna be on SOTG.  Brad and JP seem to go back a bit, JP did arrange the showmatch on the first TNT for SC2 between Huk and Machine.

Also, I left a post on the TL SOTG thread with info about what's happened here with the purchase and whatnot since apparently a lot of people were out of the loop and/or were basing things off speculation rather than info. There were concerns that the show would be censored and whatnot.  I saw a few other familiar GB names post in there too.

We #esportsnow?

You mean #ESPORTSnow?

Edit: I TOTALLY forgot. When I watched the pre-PAX panel video I saw JP sitting behind Dave in the staff/friends section.

They continue to charge more for products that are no longer superior to the competition and seem to think brand name will carry them. It won't. The higher-ups need a reality check.  When you walk into a store to look at TVs, and see 3 TVs, a Samsung, a Panasonic and a Sony, all look to be of the same quality and specifications but the Sony's $100 more than the other two, which are you going to choose? Probably not the Sony.

Hmmm...

In no particular order:

- Medal of Honour: Allied Assault (My first online game, the community was so nice)
- Roller Coaster Tycoon
- Civ IV
- Sid Meier's SimGolf (See my totally middling but incredibly informative wiki page!)
-  Company of Heroes
- Starcraft II
- Age of Empires II and the Conquerors expansion (I'm getting back into playing this online. There is a community for this still)
- Mafia (PC version is better than the console version by miles, it feels like a different engine)
- Oblivion (I loved Skyrim, but I put 400 hours into Oblivion versus only 150 into Skyrim)
- Battlefield 2

If I had more space I would add way more stuff, like KOTOR, Neverwinter Nights, Diablo II, Zoo Tycoon, RCT2, Warcraft III, Vanilla TF2 (I dislike all the changes), Jedi Knight II, The Sims (original one, not the new stuff), STALKER series, etc.

pretty cool of you to share your codes.. but the demo is freely avaliable from there site, which is what these codes give you

No it's different. These allow you to play ladder with any race or single player for up to 7 or so hours, or a certain number of days. The demo only allows customs on a couple crappy maps, and a couple campaign missions.

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts

Even if you only watch the top score replays, it's still one of the best games of this generation. It rewards creativity over "I headshotted that guy".

New CPU for my PC. My current one is getting long in the tooth.

...Oh console? None, maybe the Xbox variant but only for Forza. Even then that's a big maybe. There's very few new games that interest me anymore. Games are trying to be too serious now and it makes them not fun. The only games I'm planning on buying that are being released this year are the PC version of Dark Souls (gameplay!) and Diablo 3 (gameplay!). In neither of those games does the story seem important, both look to have really good gameplay, and neither hold your hand, something that is ruining modern games.

So buying this. I love obscenely hard games. I would have bought it if I had a PS3.

I imagine many Steam users (myself included), experience this all the time. I have 120 games on Steam, and have only played around 50 of them, and when I actually get free time (which is almost never), I look at them all, go "meh" and then just play more Burnout Paradise, SC2, Forza on my Xbox or some random game on my iPad.

Why are you surprised that an online-user based poll was bias in favor of people who are interested in things related to the internet?

It's not so much that people might have more internet based interests, but that they can't put into perspective the difference in a company that has kinda sleazy sales tactics versus companies that remove people from their homes and knowingly kill people.
