You know, I thought things were bad when I skipped over the channel and saw nothing but Cops and Cheaters re-runs for days on end. Then they mostly got rid of Olivia Munn and I thought, "well, at least most of the people on Attack of the Show aren't as awful as she was, maybe things could be looking up."

First off, I got off to this.  Second off, and looking at it with a clear head, why are you watching G4?

The fuck is happening? I think that's something 10 year old boys would watch...but even then I think I was smart enough to realize how shit of a show that would be.

And I thought Olivia Munn's interview with David Jaffe was bad. i don't know what G4 is thinking. I feel sorry for Adam Sessler.

You know, this show is really old.  and it didn't last, at all.

However, despite all the hate AOTS gets, I think it's legitimately a good show.  It feels very non-scripted, and you really see the hosts personalities a lot of the time, which leads to a lot of genuinely funny improvised humor.  It's also a pretty good tech-news source.  Unfortunately, everything else on the network is utter-shit, with X-PLAY being only mediocre.

Why does the channel still exist?  I mean it's supposed to be a channel about video games right?  But only one show really focuses on video games and that's xplay.  Attack Of The Show was good for a while but then got really boring.  Every other show on the channel is horrible or old reruns of what used to be interesting shows (Ninja Warrior).  G4 is a poor excuse for a gaming channel and should be replaced with a true channel that focuses soley on video games.

I dont watch G4 the channel.. but their website is pretty legit. Sessler runs two really cool web shows (Feedback and the Soapbox) and they have some pretty cool guys overall working their.

I wasn't thinking "Holy fuck! People need to watch this!".  Apparently, I don't have what it takes to produce television shows. 

Guys, they've abandoned the "video game-specific channel" thing for years now. They're basically a Spike TV clone. Unfortunately I cannot give my opinions on the network today as I have DirecTV, and they gave G4 the axe.

Also, not only does G4 pretty much only show reruns of Cheater and Cops, it's the same 5 episodes of Cheaters and Cops.  My housemate was watching Cops on G4 earlier today and I fell asleep, two hours later I woke up to the same episode of Cops...

wow that is sad. i think it is a new low. i wish g4 was pointed to video games like back in the day. i don't have g4 on the tv by my computer, but another tv does and when i get to watch that i look what on it. the only thing that is on  it cheaters. i'm pretty sure that they are the same ones over and over, like literally 3pm is the same one at 3pm the next day.

Only watch X-play & listen to feedback for g4 otherwise ignore most of what goes on there, agreed that they seem to be going off several deep ends where just doesn't make any sense (or is just not entertaining).

It is my curse to have lived and experienced the period in time where TechTV existed. I know how gloriously nerdy that channel was and now it's something completely different. I just don't watch it anymore, in fact, I don't watch that much television ON a TV as much, if at all.
Sad, but it's been over for a long time and with this we're that much closer to "Idiocracy."

I would have liked to see the meeting where this was green-lit as their new show.

I think that the Canadian version of G4 (G4Tech TV), is very different. There is AOTS and X play but it is much more centered on tech shows, game shows and general nerd culture shows. The American version seems to try to copy Spike TV a little too much and thats where this kind of stuff falls into place...
