Most of my UK friends generally say their netflix is utter trash compared to ours. I believe its improved since the last couple years, but still behind. They just get stuff so much later too. So generally, yeah.
People in the UK complain about anything and everything
Compared to both the Canadian Netflix and what I saw of the American one, there were a lot more 'new' releases on the UK one, like The Hobbit was on there nearly instantly after it released
Yeah.... but the UK netflix is terrible because they lose so many bloody movies to bskyb and the selection is FAR more limited. Not to mention 'The Hobbit' is shit and shouldn't be used as leverage in any positive argument ever.
I don't like the trilogy either but it was the first example of a newly released film appearing instantly on there that I could think of? I've lost count of the amount of times I've had to switch to the UK Netflix because the Canadian one is so shit, and not just for newly released films either. A lot of foreign films that I've looked for are an there but not elsewhere. Sounds like we just like different films and the films you like aren't on there.
If you're not going to actually watch matches and naturally align yourself with a team, I'm not really sure how else you're going to pick one. That said, pick Leicester. We've just been promoted, play exciting football, put up some great performances against Everton (draw), Chelsea (lost but played better than them for 60 minutes) and Arsenal (draw), have a great manager and facilities and should do well this year.
Who cares. Better to close now rather then release years of shit movies that ruin their reputation.
Who says they're going to release years of shit films? Couldn't you just say that about absolutely anything that's currently successful if you wanted to be that dismissive?
