Hi!  My name is Amanda. I'm an old school gamer, and parent of a six year old boy named Berkie.  I've lived through the  Atari 2600 to current gen consoles and I've seen it all. And through the power of emulation I have played nearly every console that can be emulated. I , like most 'round here, have been a past Gamespot supporter. I'm glad that we can still keep up with some of the dudes who made GS so great back in the day.
   I have reviewed a few games and I only review games I complete. I love all consoles and most genres except sports. I hate fanboys and narrow minded people. My favorite game of all time is Final Fantasy 3(us) because when I was 14-15 I bought this game with my hard earned, weekend waitress job, cash for...79.99...in 1994! That's like 115 bucks these days! Can you imagine paying 119.99 for Final Fantasy VIII? Well I never felt attached to characters like that before and It was great. I had a lot of problems In my life then(and now) and as a teen with few friends it was a great escape to be the champion, to be special and needed. 
   These days I require much more to get excited. my current gen faves are  GTA 4, Rock Band, Ninja Gaiden 2,Battlefield BC. Right now all I have is a 360, but Ill get a ps3 soon enough. A Wii also, what the hell.
