Pro tip: Never sign that thing they want you to sign that says everything you do is owned by the company you work for.

Ding Ding Ding

If Carmack signed a similar contract any work he did on Occulus even off the clock is legally Zenimax's, and considering ID hasn't done jack shit in 5+ years odds are some of the Occulus work was while Carmack was working at Zenimax.

Old video player always worked for me.

New video player constantly freezes and won't let me resume.

Also won't save my progress on videos anymore.

This is the same on both my chromebook and my windows 8 laptop.

Bummer :(

As someone who tried and did not enjoy Witcher 1-2, their stance on DRM will likely at least give witcher 3 a shot because companies like this deserve my gaming bucks.

Also it doesn't matter if it is pirated more, it matters if it sells more/less.

For a company like this

3 million in sales, 10 million pirated copies is far superior to 1 million in sales and 1 million in pirated copies.

People need to stop using pay pal.

If a site ONLY takes paypal? Send their support an email saying that you wanted to buy/pay/donate but can't due to paypal only.

FORCE THEIR HAND

The stuff listed in this article wouldn't crack the top 100 of shitty stuff paypal has done.

You should be proud to have the mental maturity to have that thick skin.

Acting like a spoiled child in the face of criticism like fish isn't admirable at all.

I hope fish is gone from the games industry for good.

Besides the lull right before and right after the purchase I've loved what they have done.

My one tiny beef is that no good endurance run since VJ DP but oh well.

"Approaches to piracy can and will vary from developer to developer, publisher to publisher, game to game. Each project carries its own risk-reward relationship with piracy. Look at what piracy did to the PSP, for example."

Okay, someone wanna fill me in? I thought lack of good games is what did in the PSP. Didn't really hear about piracy being a big issue on it, or maybe I'm just ignorant.

Fanboys, and devs that made bad games blamed piracy for poor sales of poor games on a poor platform.

If you can't spend 100$ to get your game in front of millions of steam users? You shouldn't be making your game for steam.

Without this 100$ charity fee 90% of greenlight was spam/trolls/mspaint flash game bullshit.

Now? Might actually be able to find the diamonds in the rough.
