I got my 360 for Christmas 2006.To put it simply i really enjoyed all the great games that were on the system,and up until april 2008 I never had any problems with it.Late april I got E74 and that was it.I wanted to get it fixed but I dident have the money and my dad just said to stick with the new ps3 my brother bought,which i did enjoy alot.Many months later I decided to do the penny fix.It worked but I still had graphical glitches now and then.But a week or so later it got e74 again.I re did the penny fix 4 or 5 times but it dident work,Im guessing the gpu is just fried.I really dont think I need to send it in to get repaires ( or get a new one) because I havent seen what microsoft has to offer.Sure theres halo wars and alan wake but besides that theres not much else that intrests me.But If I see perfect dark 2 and it looks like the origonal Ill probably get it repaired.
