Yeah, its a bit tiresome.

I can ignore random forum douches easily enough, its when the GB crew shit on a current gen console game cus its not running at 60fps 1080p...ESPECIALLY Brad.

Anytime Brads in a console quicklook just time it till he whines about the frame rate. And its always an exaggeration. (for example Far Cry 3 on 360 is perfectly playable and enjoyable, i played and beat it on my 360 TWICE.) Don't let brad near any console games anymore, he just shits on them for no reason. Kinda gross.

I am playing the "unplayable" 360 version of Saints Row 4 and somehow managing to enjoy myself.

Games is games, y'all. Let's just live and let play.

Looks pretty good, but I thought the same about Guild Wars 2 until it was released.

I would really like to get into a fantasy MMO but they pretty much all look and play the same, generally speaking. I'm basically waiting for a fantasy MMO that doesn't look or play like an MMO.

I, for one, appreciate Polygon's review of this game. I've never really been a fan of these kinds of games so I never played a lot of them and didn't really know what to expect. It's been especially frustrating seeing as how most of the coverage of the game thus far has been from super fans of the genre. In particular, one Chris Carter of Destructoid seemed like he was ready to have sex with the game as soon as he received his review copy.

Not to mention the more gameplay video I see, the more I can appreciate Danielle's point of view regarding the depiction of women in this game. I have no problem with scantily clad women or large breasts, but this game seems to go unnecessarily out of its way to exaggerate these areas. If she finds this stuff objectionable, then she has every right to voice her opinion on it and let her score reflect it.

There are and will be plenty of reviews that don't touch on the sexualization aspect of Dragon's Crown. One or two reviews that do touch on this issue shouldn't hinder anyone's enjoyment of the game.

Listen 'ere, man! You can throw shit at Chrono Cross, but I will not tolerate any sort of shit being thrown at its soundtrack! Those tunes are nice!

I'm not a fan of the DW Spinoffs. Like, at all. I thought FoTNS: Ken's Rage would be cool (or at least semi-enjoyable like their Gundam counterparts), but it was slow and slowly ate away at my soul.

Despite my unfair and blinding hatred of Chrono Cross, I do have to agree with you about the soundtrack. One of the most beautiful soundtracks I've ever had the pleasure of hearing.

But everything else about the game suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks!

For me it's the first Borderlands. It is by far my favorite game of this generation. As of now I have about 900 hours invested in it with all 4 characters maxed out with every available skill point. It was also the first game that I genuinely felt compelled to S rank the Achievements and I had a blast doing it. Even the oft-maligned Mad Moxxi DLC turned out to be pretty fun once I partied up with some friends to knock out the cheevos for it.

I know a lot of people found the game incredibly boring but something about it just clicked with me and I've been addicted to since. I occasionally go back to it every once in a while, usually when I'm more disappointed than usual with Borderlands 2.

As an atheist myself, I was prepared to be offended and was already thinking of a heated reply to this pamphlet. But after reading it completely, I gotta say that description is pretty much dead on.

And if christians are going to start teaching children to avoid us atheists, I think I can find it in my black, faithless heart to tolerate these people.

This is progress.

I said it once and I'll say it again:

Forget the whole sexism thing, I just think the Sorcerer's design is silly and dumb. I'm not offended, I just laughed my ass off when I saw the design and wrote it off as juvenile.

It looks like a fun game and I am most likely going to buy it, but come on. I showed the picture of the "Tit Witch" (as my friends and I have now dubbed her) to my friends and they pretty much had the same reaction. They laughed, shook their heads, and then we speculated on the issues the character designer might have in his personal life. But they liked the look of the game and might pick it up as well.

There is a middle ground between being "OMG!! SEXISM!!!" and "YOU GUYS ARE PRUDES!! IT'S ARTISTIC!!!." And in that middle ground you will hear the sound of my laughter. Cuz this shit be ridiculous.

GTA 4 was the only GTA game I've never been able to finish. I tried getting back into it several times over the past few years, but I could never get it to click with me. GTA 5, however, looks like a fine return to form and I can't wait to get my hands on this baby. If this game is half as good as it looks, it will be a great capstone for this generation.

Title of the thread had me nervous since I was thinking of getting the 360 version if I do decide to pick this game up. Glad to see they are doing things the right way when it comes to multiple discs. For an open world and somewhat nonlinear game like this, switching discs all the time would have been a royal pain in the ass.
