Damn. I'm sorry to hear this. The pacing sounds all off...
Yeah it kind of made all of the business buying obsolete, but after buying up a TON of businesses I'm broke again lol. Hopefully that money comes back quickly.
@ComradeKhan: Yeah at first I didn't think I was doing damage, but I think his head is protected. I started unloading in his body (oooooh that sounds bad) and eventually he went down. I only had like 500$ in my pocket, and afterwards I had over 250k. PRETTY FREAKING COOL!
I have to say it's almost a bummer, I usually love buying businesses and making money. After this I literally bought almost every business / Gun upgrade I could.
I popped in SR3 for the first time last night and about 2 hours in I realized that out of nowhere I had 250k! I was just messing around in a Saint's clothing store and when I came out there was some dude in a Mouse Mascot costume (he had a gun and was shooting at me.) His helmet prevented any headshots, but after filling his body full of lead for a while he died. I don't know if this is where the money came from, but it's my only guess. I looked for an answer and couldn't find anything, anyone else have something like this happen?
If you have a companion / partner that is following you around you can load them up with gear, but eventually they over-encumber...
Fortunately, all you have to do is drop whatever items you want them to carry on the ground. Then, just order your partner to pick them up (via command) and they will pick up every item and never be over-encumbered!!
THIS WORKS FOR AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT!
(My partner would not pick up STOLEN goods, but this may vary depending on who it is)
This might seem obvious to some but I just figured this out today, if an icon on the map is white you've already discovered it. Black icons indicate somewhere you haven't discovered yet.
