I think this was one of the greatest seasons of TV of all time, even if I felt the middle section meandered a bit (but maybe I'll feel differently upon rewatching). I have no idea what to think of the finale other than that if gave me a huge sinking feeling in my chest and was kind of hauntingly beautiful, but also frustrating too. Part 17 was a great wrap-up to everything imo.

@retris: @soulcake: The thing that drew me into wrestling is the idea of using something so simple as two dudes fighting in a ring be used to build an intricate world with crazy characters and melodramatic plotlines, so Lucha Underground actually seems right up my alley. Will definitely check that out, thanks. NJPW seems pretty neat too, I'll have a look at that

So, after years of hearing how cool wrestling is, I finally decided to maybe see if it's something I'm into. This was prompted of all things by me downloading the WWE Idle game. I looked at the beginner's guide that someone posted in the forum a few years ago, and am going to follow some of the pointers that OP laid out. I watched a random episode of NXT (from 2014 lol, since that's when the post was written) and thought it was pretty fun, but I guess with wrestling you need to get your feet wet a little bit before fully enjoying it. I'm guessing SummerSlam is gonna be a good time, anything I need to watch to understand the full context of the fights happening? I'm just gonna plan on watching a random smattering of NXT and RAW

Any fans of the Gooch Boys on Giant Bomb? If you haven't been keeping up with the "drama," a few days ago they announced that they would be in an FPS/RPG game called Capsule Silence XXIV developed by NHX. A couple days ago they went on a (now deleted) twitter rant about how soulsucking the game dev process was and how they were tired of dealing with NHX and they leaked the game. The thing is... NHX doesn't really exist. It's a visual arts company thing that makes websites for musicians who are friends with Anamanaguchi, and one of the guys from Anamanaguchi started it. Don't want to say much about the game, but it was developed by one of the guys from Arcane Kids and it definitely shows. Plus, you get access to like 30+ new songs, and they're all great.

http://we.tl/88zwlT52aw - here's the game

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCNhkNL5ti8 - and here's Polygon's overview of it. I wouldn't watch it if you're planning on playing as a lot of the fun is figuring out how it works. Probably took me less than 45 minutes to do the whole thing but there's tons of secrets in there.

Isn't this basically what Insomniac was doing with Fuse back when it was called Overstryke?

@narujoe93: many of the PS3 R&C games were highlights of the series. While stuff like All 4 One was a misstep, it was never supposed to be a "main" game. All of the Future games are fantastic, with A Crack In Time ranking very high among the entire series for me.

I really, really enjoyed the two seasons that Enlightened had and was really bummed when it got cancelled, especially since it seemed like it was picking up a bigger viewership towards its final weeks. I definitely think it'll be regarded as one of the best shows of this era a few years from now. I hope Mike White starts writing some more stuff again soon.

A Ratchet & Clank origin story? So... the first game?
