When I was a kid, Little Caesars was the only pizza game in town anywhere nearby. I had it all the time. I tried it again for the first time in about 25 years, and I couldn't believe how awful it was. I've tried a few different locations over the years just to make sure, and it was just bad.

If you duders want some good fast-food pizza- check out Blaze Pizza. They build right in front of you, chuck it in a stone oven for 3 minutes, and bam, fresh, hot, delicious pizza, made to order. It has honestly ruined other pizza joints for me.

I'm incredibly pleased to see DDLC get some well-deserved recognition. It even made it to my GOTY #4 spot. I absolutely agree that more people should check it out.

I do wholly admit that it was incredibly innovative, and one of the best game experiences I've had in a long, long time.

But, real talk, best adventure game? Like others above have already pointed out, this was not an adventure game. I don't know about you duders, but I like my adventure games to have... you know... adventure? Give me some sort of exploration of the game world, maybe a few puzzles to solve along the way to gate my progress?

Clicking a multiple choice quiz to raise the affection of your best girl doesn't meet that in my books.

It's about 4:30 in the morning, I've been up for more than 24 hours at this point.

Sure, I "went to bed" about 5 hours ago. I couldn't sleep, so I thought, "Hey, there was that write up by Sparky about that weird game mentioned by Zombiepie. I made it about 2 paragraphs in to the write-up. Maybe I'll check that out for a bit, and fall asleep ..."

I saw the warnings. Pfft, It's been a bit since I've played one of these. It can't be any rougher than Katawa Shoujo.

Damn duders, you know what I didn't need to help me fall asleep? Two of the worst bad-ends I've seen in a while that hit me out of nowhere, and a self-aware character calling me by my actual goddamn name pleading with me to stay with them in their universe where nothing but them exist...

Now if you'll excuse me, APPARENTLY I'm going to attempt another playthrough to get the alternate end.

That article was an absolutely WILD ride. I find it utterly baffling that production for this game managed to go on for so long to begin with, let alone with the continual missteps and apparent man-child temper tantrums from the CEO that turned this project and its associated endeavors into a black hole of a money pit. I thought the horrendous bus was going to be the worst of it.

I absolutely urge the rest of the duders to give this a read.

At some point, GameStop started just printing codes on receipts, eliminating the need for the actual cards to be stocked in store,. The last time I did it wa a few years ago- No credit card was required for the 12 months subscription, I assume 3 would be the same.

So long as the Primary account on the PS4 has the PS Plus subscription, all accounts should be able to do access almost all of the online functionality, with the exception of PS Plus discounts, automatic patch updating, and early beta/alpha access demos)

Star Wars Galaxies. I had it in my possession for about 20 minutes, at which point I realized the copy they sold me was not actually new, but had been, shall we say, previously enjoyed by one of the employees, and re-shrinkwrapped to appear as a new product.

I emailed Sony online entertainment (or whoever it was that took care of the online account stuff). I was asked to write the word "apple" on a piece of paper and take a picture of everything including the receipt and cd-key.
They were super nice, and had me print their email out and take it along with the game back to the store I got it from.
They immediately banned the account, and lodged a complaint with head office of the store. I got a $20 store credit in the mail for my troubles on top of my full refund.

Aside from the GB podcasts,I've got to recommend my two favourites:

Super Sentai Brothers- two brothers watch a series of old Super Sentai (the Japanese power rangers) one episode at a time and talk about it (and a whole bunch of other nonsense).

Lore- a nice dive into some of truth behind various folklore around the world, and the darker and spookier aspects of history.

You being at Giant Bomb brought a voice to so many underrepresented aspects of gaming and the culture around it that I had no idea even existed. I wish you all the best at VICE, and can't wait to see what you do there.

Here we go again. Big Waffle, trying to keep the 'cake folk down. Pancakes, for sheer versatility alone should top waffles. Waffles are great, but I cannot fathom why an actual human being would prefer the course, hard garbage-lattice of a waffle over the round, soft, fluffy exterior of a delicious flapjack.

The only conclusion I can come to is that the repeated squares remind them of their cold robotic insides, and give their servos some sort of comfort in the mathematical simplicity of the waffle design.
