Yosemite climbers can get pretty crazy, there's guys that actually sleep on the side of the cliffs. They take a sort of sleeping bag/hammock, secure it to the rock face and spend a whole night sleeping while dangling on the side the cliff. I didn't believe it when my father first told me but look up the cliffs from the valley and you'll see the sacs with climbers in them.

I feel really terrible about actually being kind of jaded toward this. My parents worked in Yosemite, so while I was growing up I knew a bunch of daring free climbers. Somehow seeing a guy in a plaid shirt free soloing half dome, while impressive, just makes me meh.

Not gonna lie: I use it on my sniper rifle for some strange reason.
